Definitely a slow Olympics. Sydney McLaughlin should have been the biggest star for USA this year. By far their best track and field athlete along with the 19 year old 800m woman. McLaughlin was probably the best looking of the American athletes and there was barely a mention of her name.
She got a 0.0. Looks like one of my dives. Iād give her a 1.0 for jumping into the water.

I would give her a 10. She made it into the water the same as all the other girls without bothering with any of those useless flips and tricks. Far more efficient and same result.
Iām not following the Olympics but apparently Canada won the 200m. First sprinting gold for us since the 90s if I recall correctly (Donovan Bailey?). I know because itās all over our normal news here. I will now go back to not caring about the Olympics.

And again with decathlon. Canada is winning some of the prestige events this time around, which is much better than some of the weird events like skateboarding. I still donāt care, though. Thereās something about this Olympics that is just not resonating with me. Empty stadiums and a host nation that just wants us all to go away. Iām just not feeling it.
I havenāt watched one minute of the Olympics. Iām waiting for fucking to be recognized for the sport that it is.

Probably the worst performance ever for the USA track and field men. The rest of USA was pretty good.
China is killing it, but Australia is totally outperforming their population numbers. They have more gold than Russia with one fifth the population.

And the menās 200m and Decathlon. Iād say the menās 100m is the most prestigious event at the Olympics but those two are next.

Your country has won at sculls (whatever they are), RS:X (whatever that is), keirin (whatever that is), road time trials, BMX racing (omg thatās an Olympic sport?), cycling sprint, and an Ethiopian immigrant won in the admittedly important 5000m to save you some face.
