Totally agree. It’s not like she should go to jail for her team drugging her. She shouldn’t be aloud to compete. I don’t care what the reason is, simply. Roger clemens blamed his wife for shooting a b12 shot into his ass that accidentally had some steroids and human growth hormone that he didn’t know about. Even if that was true, it’s still cheating if it’s a banned performance enhancer.
I don’t blame the 15 year old, but she shouldn’t keep her medals or be allowed to compete. Kind of have to be consistent.
Sha’qarri Richardson just asked why she was not allowed to compete while taking a non performance enhancing drug, while the Russian who took a PED is. That is an excellent question that I’m sure will be ignored because there is no good answer. She thinks it’s race. It could be. It’s probably because she doesn’t have a mob backing her.
She took Marijuana to help deal with the death of her mother. That’s a silly drug to be banned, but if that are their rules then she should have been banned. They opened this up. Now the IOC can deal with it.
Valieva just skated the short program. She fell. The American commentators didn’t say a word her entire skate. Other than Tara Lipinski stating at the end that she can’t believe she just skated.
It’s only 1 am here. I’m always up this late. I only wake up around 8 am. I’ll go to sleep in an hour, after surfing Youtube videos. Our taste in vids is quite different though.
Oh, I don’t prefer mine. I just watch them. Mostly crap. Old sci-fi audiobooks. Ham radio stuff. I just watched this. I had no information of note but I found it cool.
Dear God, the Slovaks just beat Team USA! This is the Team USA that just beat Team Canada a few days ago. Just like that, against a nobody team, they’re out. If Team Canada wins, they need to send the Slovaks a few cases of wine.
Truth. I am watching the highlights. The Slovaks tied up the game with 43 seconds left, and then Team USA couldn’t score a single goal in the shootout.
the Internet encourages the rapid, distracted sampling of small bits of information from many sources. Its ethic is that of the industrialist, an ethic of speed and efficiency, of optimized production and consumption―and now the Net is remaking us in its own image. We are becoming ever more adept at scanning and skimming, but what we are losing is our capacity for concentration, contemplation, and reflection.
