This guy is hitting the back of her seat. Is that assault on her as she claims?
God no. That’s not assault. I’m with the guy gently punching the seat.
Interesting case, btw.
She doesn’t have a right to put her seat back? Why are you taking his side?
I actually agree with you. He didn’t touch her so I don’t think it’s assault but she had a right to a peace filled flight.
The complaint is justified. I just think the charge should be taunting.
The guy was an asshole.
She has the legal right to recline her seat back. As far as I know there are no laws against gently punching the seat ahead so he has the legal right to do that, too.
Legal right maybe but human decency?
The guy is an asshole.
I don’t agree. In economy, people who recline totally infringe on the space of the people behind. Most people dislike them. I honestly don’t know why seats in aircraft recline at all in economy.
We disagree. I always recline or used to when I traveled. Never had anyone punch my seat. He could have spoken to her like a human rather than intentionally annoy her.
If they aren’t going to defend the passengers right to recline, they should remove the feature.
Agreed!
I’m reclining now.
I just got my nails done. I think I’ll recline too.
You have the right!
lol… they both could have said something
whatever happened that people cant communicate anymore with eachother?
Where have you been. That’s the way people communicate now.
I’m not trying to draw this out but just so I understand, would you agree with the woman that what this guy did was assault or some other chargeable offense? I totally agree the guy should’ve spoken instead of punching the seat, but I wouldn’t charge him myself.
Not illegal but it offends me when people rely on legality to inform their behavior.
