Denzel always plays an excellent character. He used tact and cunning and shrewd politics. Although a manipulator he understood Rome only as power. Only as power and understood nothing but power.
He did not understand the dream of Rome. One that cared for it’s citizens. Just to attain power and keep power.

Heretic had interesting plot twists and you liked the female characters more as the
