Life is good

That charger has multiple settings for different battery types and sizes even for motorcycle. Otherwise I could have have just used lightning.

Anyone familiar with royal purple? Heard mixed reviews about sea foam and not to try it.

Noted increase in performance and gas mileage acceleration and top end. Also does t seem as likely to stall. Almost 180k miles.

I can’t believe I can’t find my torque wrench. Something that long with and obvious. I really need to organize…I can’t explain why I’m not able to.

Today, the lily my mum gave me last year for my garden, not just survived the winter, but opened today her first blossom.

It was very good, but I wont say what it was, lol. Was a first for me.

And then of course an Apfelstrudel. And the best beer I know. Yes, I know, but when alrrady at a restauraurant which has the best brewery, why coffee…

And dogs…

I’m sure it’s healthy but it doesn’t look inviting.

Is that a meat dish with fruit Gunda? That looks really savory.

I would rank those 3…

  1. Pups
  2. Flowers
  3. Food lol

Looks like a good day.

I’m driving to Indiana starting next Sunday. The timing is perfect. I’m ready for vacation, but need to fix something at work before I can forget about it. I have a newish boss since November. I’ve known her for 10 years. It’s mostly good. Not perfect. Mostly good. I think my performance appraisal might be next week.

Anyways, my vacation starts next Saturday with a wedding, so that will help me forget about work before the real vacation starts. We will be in Pennsylvania and New York for half the trip.

My friend that lived in Norway had to move back to Bloomington, Indiana 2 weeks ago. Our 10 year wedding anniversary is August 8th. This friend introduced us, so we are going to eat breakfast with her on August 8th. She is scared to move back. She has lived in Massachusetts, Ohio, Vermont, Israel, Arkansas, Indiana and Norway.

I believe her order goes…

Massachusetts
Norway
Vermont
Indiana
Israel
Ohio
Arkansas

Her son went to hebrew school in Indiana, lol. Otherwise, I think she’d move to Vermont if she was childless.

The pups were cute. The dessert looked good. Even the beer looked good and I don’t really like beer. The food looked truly horrible, though. Mark-like.

If I would have to rank those three, I would do it in the same order you have.

Best wishes for your work task and vacation, Dan.

Yes it is. The fruit was an apple. A few cranberries too (but the sour ones, not the ones you have in the US.

And the meat? Hart? Venison?
Is that a beef tri tip?

It was liver. Was very good but not as good as the one my mum makes and I also missed the fried potatoes. But admittedly it was a different method of preparation too. But I wouldn’t order it a second time. Was just curious when I read it on the menue and brave enough to try it.

Took this photo this morning at about 05:30 am, when letting the dogs into the garden for their businesses, while I was making my first garden round to check if everything is alright and to enjoy the plants and blossoms as well as the fresh morning air. I love foxes and so I put up those 3 metal plates 2 years ago. Forgot already the text on the far left one. Reading it, as I was standing close enough - and laughed. That was the reason I bought that one, lol.

I think this is the sweetest and cutest thing I ever heard a human say to another human.

It’s a holiday in most of Bavaria, but it’s too hot already for that I want to go outside. My back aches are back as well due to too much work-related sitting anyway. So I am going to spend this day lying, watching funny video clips and flicks. Like this one here. Amazing skilled dog. He really seems to enjoy what his owner probably taught him. I just wish, he would do this in a less trafficked area. Asian dense populated cities are a horrible place for me to even watch.

But only for way too few. For so many life just sucks. But we should celebrate and cherish those few lucky ones and focus on helping as many as we can.

Life is good. I had one of my worst back aches on Monday and couldnā€˜t get into the car to drive to the doctor (who couldnā€˜t do anything anyway but usually a doctor wants to see one before attesting being sick). I couldnā€˜t even walk, which usually isnā€˜t a problem despite having back aches. But it simply was worse than the usual ache when acute. So I called the doctor and thankfully he believed me and so I stay at home till the end of the week. I am thankful for living in Germany and getting paid despite being not able to work again after already four weeks in rehab this year. I don’t have to worry about paying my rent, meds and taking good care of my four pets. Life indeed is good. But I also work hard for it and thus donā€˜t have a bad conscience.
