Schön.
Since Luigi joined my fur-family, I wanted my cats to have the sleeping room as their relaxed, dog-free place. But last night, maybe due to the hefty thunders with lightnings, Luigi wanted in. After leading him back to Jamie in the living room, he went for the sleeping room again. So I gave in for this night. I havent had a dog snuggling that close and firmly to me. He must have had a good hearted prior owner. I wonder what happened that he ended up in the shelter. Maybe it was a old or sick person who soon had to leave this world and him behind and the relatives not wanting or being able to take care of the dog. I would love to have the chance to know him/her. I assume it’s a her, as he seems to be spoilt, lol. And I feel happy I can help that prior owner by taking care of his/her precious companion.
Just came back from my landlords dog fur salon. Luigi got his first bath. She told me, one of her dogs also was frightened last night by the thunder and sought protection by her. So, I am pretty sure now that the thunder was also what drove Luigi into my sleeping room. My cats will be relieved that their sanctuary will stay dog free - except for the nights with thunder.
lol or until luigi finds another reason
How about some more pictures of you Gunda?
This pic is just a few minutes old. While cuddling on the couch with Luigi, which became a routine on every weekend mornings, he suddenly got up and down from the couch, looking at me. He wanted into the garden, not for some business but for catching his first sun beams on that day. Which he does. It feels good to know he is enjoying his life.
P.S. Right after taking this photo, I nearly fell over my cat Kimba, who had lied down herself on the kitchen rug right behind my feet without making a meow. Cats.
Foto was taken from our todays beautiful sunday evening walk to my favourite local place at the river Regen. Luigi is a dream of a dog. Totally uncomplicated and friendly to all (yet). A stork, duck, rabbit or deer didn’t cross our path yet, though.
Just let Luigi enjoy his first sun beams today. Jamie preferred to stay in her bed, as usual. So I made a break from work, brewed me some coffee and stayed a bit with Luigi in the garden and checking the plants. It’s funny, but I never understood as a child, even up till maybe my late 20s even, why my mum - beside all her huge amount and grinding work - also put so much work and effort into her flowers. I get it now I think. And even better the older I become. If they blossom and everything is neat in my garden, the gaze I take from time to time makes me ridiculously happy and satisfied.
On coming Friday the craftsman hopefully comes, for that I can use the garden shed again (don‘t want to think right now about that disgusting mice-dirt-cleaning). I bet I can throw away all the cushions and some deco stuff. I also still have to paint the wood white on the outside for another time, though. But this task I plan in for after my Reha.
Update:
Now Jamie wanted into the garden as well, to let her belly get nuzzled by the sun, lol. Made that pic through the kitchen window.
My niece Isabella married yesterday. I liked her partner right from the start. Calm talker, diligent, good manners, an overall very good character. He worked also at home after work, building his own machines from scratch and assembled an old white Ford Capri, which also served as the car for the couple. It was a first to my eyes, lol.
But when I saw him waiting with his back to the bride in the meadow at his farm, having already to dry his eyes, despite he hasn’t seen her in her gown, I was so happy for Isabella. I will never forget the moment she tipped on his shoulder and he turned around. I cried together with Isabella’s mum, lol.
Hey that is nice restoration and customized job.
Cool black and white picture looks classy.
Have you even tested of it’s waterproof yet? I mean not just pouring gently over the top but spraying with the hose form all angles like the rain in strong wind.
Or just put the books/games/cards in tupperware inside.
It’s the second of four weeks of my medical rehabilitation stay because of my lower back. Just came back from my favourite Therapeut (she does Ergotherapy). Gave me a painful „massage“ of my left foot or rather leg. And the pain I felt in my two left toes when wearing shoes is gone. Amazing. If I had the money, I would have massages every day, for that every centimeter of my body was treated within a month. And this I would repeat for the rest of my life. In between a few relaxation massages too. Paradise couldn‘t offer anything more attractive to me. Except it’s Tom Ellis, lol.
Even my dogs get out more often then I could offer them at home in home office. But they collect an incredible amount of ticks every time we go longer distances. I extra made an appointment for tomorrow late afternoon to get pills for them to kill the ticks as soon as they bite.
I wish this wouldn‘t end. I also enjoy not having to make food by myself. Heaven. Well nearly.
Have you tried those USB massagers? I found them useful when I was recovering from surgery six years ago.
No, I bought this here many years ago, but it‘s no replacement for a skilled physiotherapist and similar health professionals.
Yes, I hope we have robots for this soon. I dislike being touched by men and being touched by women, while pleasant to me, often brings unprofessional (and totally uncontrolled) reactions. I do not say this in a dirty or childish way. It’s just the reality of being human. A robot doing this would be much better, and would be available 24/7.
I disagree. I have no gender preferences but I would not want a robot to touch me.
discrimination!
