No way in hell I’m buying new. I’ll buy used and only if there’s an incredible deal to be had. And I mean like 40% below blue book or something.
I wouldn’t buy a gas car new. Electric makes sense since the government gives you 7500 dollars and the battery will last longer.
There will be some people in a bind now with the hysteria going on and should be good hunting for a vulture.
I have a plan now but wrenches thrown in. My older sister wanted to buy something as a gift, because she has 100 dollars in Amazon credit and they sell the reel mower with catch my father and I agreed upon (we fight about everything and I can never buy tools or mowers, electronics etc.). Its in stock but I just read Amazon is only taking accepting diapers and essentail items at warehouses until April 5. Hopefully this is at a warehouse already and they need it emptied.
We have several weed wackers including a brand new in box electric but it is corded. I hate dealing with dords despite the power they offer over battery. Snow Joe/Sun joe has a alot of good electric mowers including a reel type electric, but the push reel looks the best buy for me.
I remember Dan postiing somethign about robot mowers which I think were Hover mowers. Hover mowers on gas are expensive unless you buy a used one which still run expensive. The weight is negligeble because it literally floats on air. Some people apparentyl due too. Electic hover mowers are within my price range but if its me I have to do the work. I will either be supplying energy to a gas engine or electric one. I hope the 30 pound weight is as easyfor me to pick up as it is for other people.
Some people have so much free lift theycan pick up a 30 pound reel mower like a bag of potato chips. Or make it look what I would exert for a 3 pound dumbell you might use for boxig or walking/jogging. I’m hoping I can average out on the “plane field of existence” and not have to suffer at 10x the gravity.
I have been around people who supposedly weight the same amount as me with only 3 pounds of downward/upward force on them while I practically could feel my feet being crushed by 3000 pounds.
I have plans for my other mower as I did note it was covered by about 100 earwig/pincer bugs when I removed the plastic garbage bag I had sealed it with/ I’m going to take the whole thing apart and try to do a good cleaning of everything taking pics or videoig it on my phone. Hopefully I can find a manual but I need a good workspace and for the rains to stop.
Anyone find any bulk toilet paper and buy? Do you notice the weight if you are sitting in your automobile and somebody throws a 4 pack in the pack? If not what is the minimum amount…maybe a single 24 pack and you can feel the difference in weight from the driver’s seat?
I know some people are missing the feeling of doing barbell deadlifts and squats at the gym. I can’t even do these anymore the exercise feels so awkward like the capacity is 5 pounds maximum for lift.

My dogs get their food at about 6 am and then run into the garden for doing their business. At the weekends and generally when I dont have to leave for work (and presumed it’s not too cold), I enjoy a hot coffee sitting at the terrace, watching two happy dogs and listening to busy singing birds. No human made noises. I love those moments. And then I go back to bed again.

Each one sleeps in their own bed. Only the cats are granted access to my bed and Ganymedes regularily makes use of it.
