Instrumental music

Seems, he is still together with his wife. Awwwww.

From Wikipedia:
Hill is married to Lori Hill (née Zwicklbauer) and they have had two sons together; Jess (born 1969) and Ross (1973–1990). Ross was killed in a car accident in Stockbridge, Massachusetts, U.S., in 1990, while Hill was preparing to film Lucky Luke (1991) on the Bonanza Creek Ranch near Santa Fe, New Mexico.

aww
wow he is 85 years old now lol time flies!

Wahnsinn, ja. Die Zeit verfliegt.

My favourite film music are from Martin Böttcher for the several Karl May movies and this one from Hans Zimmer:

The first one is the best arrangement by far I found. I love also the change from 2:30 on.

This one is a simpler and shorter version, but also very nice.

I admit I didn’t know Zimmer stole quite a bit from Carl Orffs Gassenhauer. Incredible, lol. Nevertheless, I prefer Zimmers product.

Martin Böttcher. My generation knows these Melodie’s and loves them dearly. With a young Mario Girotti (Terence Hill). Filmed in Croatia (then part of Yugoslavia).

I was watching these Winnetou movies snuggled up with my brother on the couch of my grandma. I loved my childhood.

Brilliant! Those brass instruments conjure up the wide horizons and empty landscape in my mind. Great arrangement!

This makes so much joy. What a great theme song of another Western. Probably the most iconic one for me, with so many characters I loved as a kid to watch. And I would even today switch on the tv for it. That young Horst Buchholz, naive and full of energy, that cool and always lightly smiling Steve McQueen. And my third favourite character, that calm knife artist played by - Mist, I forgot his name, lol. I will remember, I will remember!

lol yes you will

My favourite scenes from this movie. I am surprised Buchholz wasn‘t dubbed.

Lol@ the title „Horst gets angry“:joy:

did you remember the name of the knife guy?

Slim

Watching the Margarete Rutherford versions (and only those, as she and her unique and funny play ruined every later versions of Miss Marple to me, even the original books due to the different original described character), is like coming home for me. And the soundtrack is incredible. I love, love, love it, lol. And Rutherford. And her hubby who played Mr. Stringer.

Another ancient old feel good music.

I post ancient music. That song is from 1962.

I wasn‘t born back then. To me that qualifies for that word regarding music, lol.

We should have a new topic called Good Music where only I am allowed to post.

If I made you feel I didn‘t want you post, then that was not my intention. I even didn‘t dislike your post.

No, Gunda, I was just joking. I should’ve explained that.

You are no Brit. I really should consider this more on the humour front.
