Ok, my Alinco switching power supply just shot craps. I hate switching power supplies. I don’t get the theory and believe they are inherently unreliable but I took some advice and bought one. Now buying a Yaesu power supply fp 1030A regulated power supply. Old school, been around for years, reliable. Grrr.
So now I know.
That’s unfortunate. I have an Alinco switching power supply at home in Vancouver. No issues yet, but it’s not that old. I don’t really have space there for a linear regulated one anyway.
Yeah, they are bulky but rock steady. I have the room. lol
