The Americans had an awful day yesterday. Especially, the men. Townsend won again though. This time against the 5 seed. Coco is still in it. The Americans still have women seeded 3 and 4 and the 4th and 14th seed on the men’s still alive. Plus Townsend and that’s it.

Unbeliebable. Both deserve each other. If I was Poland I would revoke their citizenship. What a disgrace. Just last night I watched a similar incident in a baseball game. A child caught the ball and a woman behind it snatched the ball out from the childs hand palm and cheered and posed, as if she was catching it instead of stolen. Jesus, even if you would have caught a ball and a child around you tried too, just give it to him/her.

The American men comtinue to suck at men’s tennis. You could say the same thing about Australia, England, France and all of South America. Switzerland, Spain, Serbia and Italy have been winning everything for the last 25 years. A black Canadian guy made the semifinals. Djokovic will be a big underdog tomorrow, although he’s playing well. Even if he wins, he’ll probably be a huge underdog in the finals.
2 American women made the semifinals. Besides Serena, nobody has dominated women’s tennis for the last 25 years. I guess that’s why the Americans win sometimes. Women’s play is significantly worse, but the unknown makes them a better sport.
Not a ton of drama lately. Still, a better tournament than Wimbledon was.
Djokovic isn’t even playing today. He and Alcaraz have 2 days off. Osaka and her opponent both played yesterday and are playing again today. I’d say having someone play consecutive days ,10 days into the tournament is ridiculous. Horrible scheduling. If they think the men’s final will be more popular, they should have probably done it on Saturday and the women on Sunday. Tackle football starts mostly this Sunday. Most won’t even remember the US open has a finals.
