Better was a bit vague. They certainly weren’t better at getting crushed.
Be serious! I don’t pity the women’s team. They banded together, worked as a team and played well, especially that goalie.
I agree with this 100%. The women did great as far as I’m concerned. My definition of great is playing with class to the best of their ability and not quitting. They lost the way human men would lose a strength contest to gorillas. The only lesson to be had here is that we should not allow men (or gorillas) to play women’s soccer.
Respect to the women’s team. They were beaten but they were not humiliated. The ones humiliated are the idiots asking them to play against biological men.
Yeah, probably the same people who thought it was a good idea for a transgender to play against a biological female.

VNL is on again. I don’t care about the men. That game is too fast. Seriously. Women’s volleyball is much more worth watching. China is kicking ass. Poland and USA, too. I am happy to see the Netherlands at 0-4. Canada is average as usual.

The Netherlands apparently plays real hockey. Here they are losing to Serbia this year. I didn’t know Serbia played hockey either but apparently they can beat the Dutch. Edit: Guess who won?
Brasil destroyed the Netherlands 3-0 in volleyball today. I really enjoyed that.
And Canada beat Serbia.
Canada just beat defending world champions Serbia. All of this without Kiera Van Ryk, their best player, who should be back before the tournament is out. There’s probably still no chance but it’d be nice. Let’s see when Van Ryk is back.

I just stumbled upon this from a decade ago. One of the greatest moments in sport by one of the most beautiful and graceful women ever to compete. The west later tried to destroy her because she said she didn’t think it was good to promote homosexuality to children.
I didn’t even notice this from three weeks ago. Canada did well. I’m amazed this didn’t make more news.
