German music

Just came home from my family in Tiefenbach. Had a wonderful weekend with a beautiful dog walk along the river Ilz in Fischhaus and delicious food. Sigh. My mom‘s the best! :yum::yum::yum:

I am going to post my favourite german as well as english song I‘ve heard on the road.

𝔎𝔢𝔦𝔫𝔢𝔫 𝔖𝔱𝔯𝔬𝔪 𝔲𝔪 𝔟𝔟𝔞𝔡 𝔷𝔲 𝔭𝔬𝔰𝔱𝔢𝔫

𝔉𝔬𝔯 𝔐𝔢𝔦𝔫𝔊𝔯𝔬𝔰𝔷𝔐𝔬𝔫𝔡

Gumba Gumba Boo Hoo

Sounds like a fake cry, no one could possibly love.

Horrid melodramatic tripe in German. I love it. A rare case where the cover is as good as the original.

i’m supposed to click on a nazi whore telling me what love is?

She’s a remarkably elegant and beautiful young woman, Germans aren’t Nazis any more than every American is a Trump supporter, and nobody’s forcing you to click anything.

that explains why i didn’t click
nobody was forcing me
all canucks play hockey and suck out loud

I think I posted this once before but whatever, it bears repeating.

No. Nazi whores don’t love.

And you can’t afford to waste even one click.

I love that song so much.

urgh… why did i click on that?

You would have to translate since it’s in German but it looks like a praise and worship song. Is it Gospel music?

Idk lol, why did you?

i didnt look at the picture or paid attention to the topic and only saw gunda mention she loves that song…

No, no gospel. The message is about what a father/mother wish to their child and it’s wedding partner. To always cherish and work on their love and respect for each other. For that their love may last forever (immerfort is an oldfashioned, poetic german word which translates as forever). No wonder Thinki and Reggie dislike it. If I have time after work, I will search for a proper translation.

That’s okay, Gunda. No need to go to any trouble. It was a really nice song. Enjoyed.

now now, i do believe that marriage is a weird religious tradition that was only setup to steal money from people but i do really like the idea of people cherishing, working on their love and respecting each other…

and reg is an old married man and your country sucks at football so bite your tongue, you german!

I agree. The Bible makes it clear that when a man leaves his father and mother and cleaves to a woman they are one, effectively becoming married through consummation.
