As it become day, the elders of the people gathered together, both ruling kohanim and Torah scholars, and they led Him away to their council, saying, “If You are Mashiach, tell us.” But Yeshua said to them, “If I tell you, you will never believe; But from now on, the Son of Man is seated at the right hand of the power of God.” Then they all said, “Are You then Ben-Elohim?” And to them He said, “You say that I am.” Then they said, “What further need do we have for testimony? For we have heard it ourselves from His own mouth!” - Luke 22:66-67,69-71 TLV

Right at daybreak, the ruling kohanim held a meeting to consult with the elders and Torah scholars and the whole Sanhedrin. They tied up Yeshua, led Him away, and handed Him over to Pilate. - Mark 15:1 TLV
So the ruling kohanim and Pharisees called a meeting of the Sanhedrin. “What are we doing?” they asked. “This Man is performing many signs! If we let Him go on like this, everyone will believe in Him, and the Romans will come and take away both our holy place and our nation.” - John 11:47-48 TLV

Finally, Pilate handed Yeshua over to be crucified. - John 19:16 TLV

“For truly both Herod and Pontius Pilate, along with the Gentiles and the peoples of Israel, were gathered together in this city against Your holy Servant Yeshua, whom You anointed. - Acts 4:27 TLV

It reminds me of how governments are run today. Seeking false testimony to condemn Him. Searching for anything that gives rise to persecution and prosecution.

I also want to add another thought about this topic.

Scripture points to several sources for the crucification of Jesus but Jesus was a Jew so to say “the Jews crucified Jesus” can imply Jesus crucified Himself. That is obviously not true since we know that Jesus went alone and prayed for God to take this cup from Him if it be His will. So while the Jews were part of carrying out the act, it’s not as much about seeking someone to blame as it is understanding why it had to be done, which was to reconcile us to God.

I also want to add another thought about this topic.

That is obviously not true since we know that Jesus went alone and prayed for God to take this cup from Him if it be His will. So while the Jews were part of carrying out the act, it’s not as much about seeking someone to blame as it is understanding why it had to be done, which was to reconcile us to God.

well if you believe that your god is almighty and knows everything, then obviously it has to be true that your jesus either let him kill himself or the whole thing was staged…

but since there are zero records from the time period a “jesus” supposedly lived there is no way of knowing

so if he did exist then he could have said anything or nothing but if he did say something it would likely be in ancient aramaic and his name would not be jesus anyways…

No it doesn’t.

Remember Pat Tillman, the fool who gave up a football contract to go fight in Afghanistan for the US military, who was killed by friendly fire? It is correct to say the US military killed Pat Tillman, and even though Tillman himself was a member of the US military, it is not correct to say Pat Tillman killed himself.

Nobody is saying all Jews killed Jesus. Some did.

It is correct to say the US military killed Pat Tillman, and even though Tillman himself was a member of the US military, it is not correct to say Pat Tillman killed himself.

Unintended consequences.
What I mean is his death was an accident. Jesus’ death was no accident.

there’s quite a lot, like people that actually lived and went to university with him that wrote about him during the time he lived, pictures of him and actual documents and books written by nietzsche himself and you can even visit his grave at his family tomb in germany

Did you see Reg’s body after he got down to his supposedly “ideal” weight of 170?
It looked like nothing but a bunch of old fatty swollen sausages piled up and linked to look like limbs… I never seen a body that lacked so much muscle and such a high percentage of fat. Ironic it was at 170 pounds…not kilos.
