Oh joy. There’s more.

I’m going to be completely honest about that show.
There’s not one thing funny about it to me.

That made me laugh, too. You and Reggie seem to have a roll today. :joy:

oh am sure there is even for you, the show had its rare moments…
of course when a german tries to explain humour that will always be lengtly but never successful lol

What rare moment, besides the end?

if i remember correctly you commented on a few of those clips and described one as “funny” so that should give you an indication

I suppose you could count that as a rare moment, so rare I don’t remember laughing at any actor or their lines.

Lol@ God becoming a regular dude and being surprised what happens when closing one’s eyes. But the reaction of Luci each time is the funniest of all, lol. :joy:

A sad and my most favourite scene from that dysfunctional family dinner. After Luci lashed out a few times towards his father (God) and his twin brother Michael (that meanie of an archangel), he suddenly becomes this neglected and vulnerable child, who only wanted to be loved by his dad. His tone changes adequately into a very soft and fragile one at minute 2 when asking God, if he loves Lucifer and Michael. The way he says „Dad“ breaks my heart.

What‘s somehow funny to me is also, that they did a great job by casting Dennis Haysbert as God. I want to hate him and yet can‘t. He portrays God as someone full of flaws but having the best intentions. Like the opposite of that Goethe character „Mephisto“ in his book „Faust“. Oh the irony, lol.

That literally fulfills 1 Corinthians 1:27. Your show serves a little purpose demonstrating the continuous rebellion of one son.
Still an incredibly flawed representation of who God is, as always. Why doesn’t this show demonstrate why they are portraying God as appearing so cold and distant?

Michele, that God in Lucifer is just distant, but not really cold. And not even 1% the meanie he is if your holy book is really true.

It’s only True to those who believe the Word written within.

Exactly. And if the content of your scripture is true, those believers believe in a meanie. Compared to that meanie of yours, that Lucifer in the tv series is a inherently good one who tries to get better each single day. At least since he gave up his God given job and retired on earth.

How so?

Simply read your book again, especially the Old Testament - or read that link Nico gave you: https://www.evilbible.com/

Those are nothing more than accusations. The Word tells us who the Accuser is. Why do you let the Accuser influence you but not God?

It‘s written in your very own book. Is your book wrong?

Oh my. I never laughed that much from watching a tv show. This is from “Miranda”. An old BBC comedy show with Miranda Hart and Tom Ellis playing Gary, her employee (cook) and love interest. Each time she looks into the camera out of surprise, I have to burst into laughter. Miranda Hart is brilliant. And Tom Ellis - he was even cuter back then as in Lucifer.

I don‘t find that fun scene at the very beginning of that infamous family dinner on the net, where Luci enters Lindas dining room and drags his chair demonstratively at the farest place away from his meanie twin archangel brother Michael and places himself at the opposite front end facing his father, lol. No word is spoken, but that scene couldn‘t be louder in it‘s meaning, lol.

But I found this utterly funny scene between Luci and Ella, who was the last one to know about Luci and the other celestials walking the earth. Luci tries to comfort her for being the last one to know, but makes it worse and worse, lol.

And lol @ Luci blaming Linda for having the worst idea to let all those friends of Luci read her manuscript about the therapy sessions, while in fact it was his very own idea. :joy:

Jesus sends the devils into 2000 pigs, causing them to jump off a cliff and be drowned in the sea. Clearly Jesus could have simply sent the devils out, yet he chose instead to place them into pigs and kill them. This is called animal abuse. (Mark 5:12-13)

The hope in the author of cunfusion is that you ignore the devils. How very idiotic. I bet there is more. I’ll go look.
