I barely order and haven’t used Prime Video for minimum a year before detecting Lucifer 3 days ago. If I plan to order again anything eventually, I can join membership again (1 month even for free).
Funny. I tend to order about 50 times a month. I buy everything on Prime, from household cleaners to electronics. I spend almost no time shopping now.
Another great performance from the musical episode by Ellis. Before I post a funny video with him running into his Mom who fled her cell in Hell, where her hubby sent her. A really dysfunctional celestial family, lol. Funny is also, that Ellis had a crush on her as a teenager or in his twenties. Must have been awkward but funny to have such a person suddenly as a sidekick, and especially in the role of Mom, dressing like a slut, lol.

Ok, I couldn’t find the delicate encounter scene that fast, but this later scene popped up. As it’s also very funny (Lucifer - accompanied by his therapist) is trying to setup his Mom with Dad in Lucifer’s home. Not knowing that this isn‘t Dad but a schizophrenic believing to be God.

I order about once a month, but my wife balances that out by ordering 49 times a month, so I think we are even.

I just don’t know why I should spend one more hour in a grocery store or shopping for mundane things that are needed for life when I can go on my computer, click a few times, and have the things I need at my door.

I get it. I just ordered trash bags and sneakers on 2 different occasions yesterday, so I’m passed my usual 1 order a month.
I go to Costco, or I’d order more.
I walked into a mall on Monday. It was awful. I probably never will again.
That’s funny. I walked into our local Surrey mall just a few hours ago and it was fine. Our nearest passport office is in that mall. I like the sushi I buy there, too.
Maybe I interpreted the word “elders” you used wrongly then. So if age is not a criteria, for sure it is - or should be - someones doings, especially if that someone has the power to rule. That God character in your fictional book failed in so many ways. Therefore he deserves the welcome he got. And besides, she used three times the word “respectful” in her speech. Thats actually more respect I would grant him.
And wrong, I totally understand the concept of sacrificing ones life to save the life of even just one person. Any parent worth the name would do that. Or any loving person for the partner. But this wasn’t the issue she adressed.

In fairness, you’re confusing your fictional character in that show with God, The Father, but you are right. Lucifer, depicted as a good-looking, classy man, needs attention and a lot of it, innocent love as from a child, but from a distance and a hot woman by his side who bows down and laps up his sugar-coated puke.
Well respect is just a word that has no value, meaning or importance, like all words. I learned that here on BBAD and I must say, I feel smarter for it.

I did already many times. So did Reggie. One of the very few things I side with him, if although he often only does it when it suits his own goal. And on the women being subordinant to men issue, he therefore sides with your idol.
Well, why should she? The matter of self-sacrifice by Jesus for all mankind means no quarrel for her (also not for me, at least generally. I just wonder why an almighty God didn‘t find a better way to save some creatures he created full of flaws without any bloodshed and suffering which ends with a terrible death of his son).
Self-sacrification is handled in the tv show, though. This time done by Lucifer several times for his love, as he became mortal when close to her (well, that’s actually not true, as he later found out, he is able to control it).
The show btw. isn‘t anti-Christianity in my opinion, but the main plot simply deals with the old story about changing oneself to become a better person. Admittedly the main character depicted not as bad as many humans who ended up in hell like murder out of greed etc., but he is described as only following the job orders given by his father.
Blame him? I don’t uhh…blame him for creating the universe. I blame Lucifer for destroying it. I blame Lucifer for accusing the brethren night and day. I blame Lucifer for creating confusion. I blame Lucifer for condemnation.

Maybe after I’ve seen the clip I can comment but for now I can only comment on this and really, I would just like to know why you think humans are in Hell since the Bible states plainly that Hell is reserved for the devil and his angels. The only humans that go there are the ones who take the mark or specifically request Hell in prayer or in the presence of two or more witnesses. What I’m saying is, you have to actually want to go to Hell to go there. You must have faith in the eternal life you seek whether it be Heaven or Hell or in outer darkness. Wherever your faith is, that is where your eternity will be.
Also, what orders were given Lucifer by God? I know Lucifer made requests and was granted permission to do certain things but I’m not aware of any orders God sent out to Lucifer. I’m not saying God didn’t order Lucifer to do something. I’m just saying I’m not aware of it and if you can, give me remembrance in Scripture.
