Usually I prefer watching movies/tv series which contain also some humour, regardless which genre. House M.D. popped up while surfing YouTube and one of the flicks I clicked was this.
That was entertaining, Gunda. I prefer more humor, too. Difficult to find in most shows these days. Actually, now that I think of it, I don’t remember that last comical show I watched. The shows are either too violent, too dramatic, too stupid or too boring but never do I ever get to watch anything that is too funny.

I find those videos she posts of Bruce grunting on the pot to be humourous.
There is not one German comedy series I know of, but plenty of German made soaps and game shows, topped by brainless and prole shows like the bachelor. And like the news and plenty of public (but also private) broadcaster bosses were right conservatives in my childhood and teenage years (which made me become a political left according to the definition back then) now the news and language get censored by far left Gutmenschen (which made me vote far right). German tv and media is a desert. Back then and today. And for this I even have to pay money (compulsatory). I hate my country and I feel ashamed for it (and both World Wars have zero to do with this). I feel ashamed for my country and don‘t feel I am a part of it anymore. That‘s why I thank God for those handful really witty or at least real funny US comedy and crime series like The Closer or House M.D.

Germany became a filth. In my youth the only beggars you saw on the street were young punks, now you see on nearly every corner in the city center people mainly from Eastern European beggar mafia, often Romas. And old German pensioners, who worked their whole life, are fishing for deposit bottles in the waste bins. Food banks don’t have enough food to help the masses of people who ask for help. Once two Romas even entered the house I was living in to knock on each door. There also once a Roma guy with a little boy ringed at my house (after I moved to the outskirts of Regensburg) to beg. A Roma woman with a little girl approached me on the street and treated her daughter badly after I answered her to go to the townhall for help, as they have the right to get welfare including rent if they are living here. We became inefficient and plain stupid, just look at the devastating railroad performance and Berlin airport. We pay record sums into the social system and in tax money, but the money still isn‘t enough. Which is no wonder, as we rather finance the EU and other foreign countries and pay minimum 50 billions annually for migrants, but have no money for investing in education. And then the Ukraine drama. We cry foul but don‘t want to send the handful Taurus out of fear of Putin. We rather send helmet, winter clothes and money. Germany already under Kohl stopped having visions and a back bone. If Putin ever would decide to march onto NATO land, the German army would be the first to lay down their weapons. If we even would have some functional ones anyway.
But surely you realize this can be said for every western country. I admit your Roma sound extremely disgusting, but Germany is still nowhere near as filthy as some US cities. I really think your life would be worse almost anywhere else.
I hate soap operas. There is just nothing realistic about those type of shows beyond the cut throat drama played out on screen to keep you coming back for more. At least shows like Bachelor and Survivor are played by normal people with normal jobs willing to take risks for adventure and that to me is entertaining.

If you find solace in American entertainment, Three and a Half Men tops the list of really amusing entertainment. It is dark humor so that may not be your taste in comedic entertainment. They say The Office is hilarious but I’ve never seen that show.
Since not a single country is feeling ashamed for the killing, enslavering and exploitation of individuals and whole countries, neither the USA, Russia, China, nor any Muslim country and also not Israel, I decline to feel ashamed for the Holocaust. It only gets political instrumentalized. No thanks.

I feel guilty for plenty of things I’ve done in life, but not one single thing that happened before I was born. Anyone who feels guilty for things that weren’t in their control is foolish.

It´s not that I find „solace“ in American entertainment, but they simply make me laugh and entertain me. It‘s not that like all of them are great, but if I like a movie or series, then it´s very likely, that it‘s made in the USA. I work hard and most of my free time and money I am active in helping pets who have to live on the street due to stupid and egoistic humans. Others like Reggie need to put down others to deal with his many complexes and hate. I don‘t spend money on a hobby which only benefits me. I also do voluntary work to help people in my neighbourhood. So yes, I love music of Bruce Springsteen and watch mainly U.S. movies/series to relax and get entertained. I feel so bad, lol. 
If you thought this through a bit, you would realize that, without humans, all animals would have to live “on the street”. Oh wait, there wouldn’t even be streets. They’d live in the wild, and be eaten by other animals. Their lifespans would be a quarter or less than what they are now. The only reason the tiny fraction of animals we keep as pets have comfortable lives is, well, humans.

PPS: Occasionally observing that Bruce looks like he’s always pooping isn’t putting him down. He has been wildly successful. Far more successful than I have been in life. I congratulate him for that, even though I do not enjoy his music. He just looks like he’s always pooping. That’s all.

And you are wrong regarding pets. Sure, the ones who are genetically healthy and fast enough to hunt and strong enough to defend their food, will have a good chance to survive and to breed. Although I have heard ages ago that male dogs lost their instinct to help feeding their puppies. For most dogs, many cats and all pigeons life on the streets mean pain and a way shorter average life than that of the average wild animal. Suffering and death, for which only humans are responsible.

I never ever would vote for a party which votes for an asshole like Trump, who combines every single attitude I despise on a person.
Germany has several political parties. Name me 10 issues and at the end I would have voted for every single of them. I explained this already once, but the main reason I currently vote for the AfD is the immigration policy, which started to go wrong under Kohl but worsened under Merkel and gets even topped since the SPD and The Greens are in power. This policy meanwhile effects many other sectors negatively. not just the mere immigration numbers. That‘s why I view this issue as the most important one. Unfortunately, the AfD is against supporting Ukraine, which is the only reason I have a bad conscience to elect them. But I can‘t elect any other party. And thanks to the AfD, the other parties seem at least to woke up at least a little bit regarding the immigration topic. The Bavarian CSU for example only suggested a payment card instead of giving money to refugees, as many refugees send part of the money home and obviously don‘t need it and as the relatively high money amount Germany pays to refugees and later unemployed people regardless their nationality, attract most to come to Germany instead of choosing other EU countries.
