FWIW, Picard is already losing me. The first season was novel. All these old 90s Star Trek people back. It was fun. Now it’s getting boring.
i liked the start of season 2… q and the borg!
but its going nowhere and the last few episodes especially were pretty bad (probably because q is nowhere to be found and the queen borg likes to sing and dance for no reason at all… lol)
I just watched the season two finale of Picard. It was better than the rest of the season. I like how they wrapped everything up with no cliffhanger, just as they did in season one. I also found the 50-something women in the show unusually attractive. 7 of 9 looks better at 54 than she did at 24, and the Romulan woman Picard ended up with looks great, too. It also was good to see that Wesley Crusher remains as irritating at 49 as he was at 19.
Apparently there will be a season 3. I will complain about it but will watch it. I’m not sure the same can be said for Discovery season 5. I really hate that series but I’m somewhat addicted to sci-fi so I might watch it anyway. Come to think of it, I never got around to Raised by Wolves season 2. I might also watch that someday.
Star Trek Strange New Worlds just came out. I probably won’t watch it. It is on paramount, which I don’t have. I haven’t even seen Picard yet.
I’m looking forward to love, death and robots which comes out may 20th.
Stranger Things season 4 is out may 27th.

watched the first episode of that last night, its a bit too flashy (what is with these bright colours? maybe just a bad rip i watched? lol) and i dont really enjoy any of the cast lol but i think they tried to recapture the old startrek series and did a pretty good job 
i suspect reg will like this better than the other stuff that is currently available?
You might be right but at the moment I’m not tempted by it. This latest round of Star Trek series isn’t moving me any. I’ve read they’re doing well from a business perspective, though, so I imagine they’ll be here for awhile.

Going to try to finish snowpiercer tonight. Awful season.
The last episode was the best. Lena Hall plays the head of the lounge, so there is usually at least an outstanding cover per episode, even if her character is unlikable.
So far love, death and robots is very good. This episode was excellent.
It was directed by the guy that did fight club, se7en and gone girl.
There is a sea monster on this boat that likes to eat meat. Straws are drawn to see who goes down next. The main character is able to communicate with the monster and it asks him to go to an island with people on it. The ship has a decision to make to save themselves or basically kill everyone on the island.
