I couldn’t agree more but this is more fun.

From his New Album. His music has still that much Energy. I love him.

Also from the New Album. Beautiful.

Welcome back, Gunda. I sure wish you would come visit. If you don’t want to talk to me, I completely understand. You can just thumb yourself nose at me and keep reading.

What makes you think I would refuse talking to you? We just have one (to me important) topic we diametrally disagree on (religion), and that‘s where we both have no tolerance, lol. But other than that, I think we get quite ok discussionwise. :smirk:

I am not here often anymore, as I don‘t use a big Keyboard but a tablet. Writing isn‘t comfortable on it.

Why don’t you use a laptop anymore?

Oh no reason. I’m getting so used to being talked at instead of to that I forgot how to carry on a normal conversation. Weird, I know. I must be on the rag today. I am feeling a little bloated. Nothing serious. A little water retention.

Oh nonsense. I think we both have tolerated a lot.

Yeah, I’m not interested in using a tablet. I use my phone for everything, accept work lol.
Well, anyway, good reads, Gunda. Take care.

Because since I moved to this House, I don‘t have enough Space for my desktop in my bedrom anymore. Now the desktop Stands in the Gallery which is the hottest place and with no wlan. So I lie in bed when going online and a Laptop isn’t Handy when lying.

But I Guess I need to find a Solution, as it seems I need to Prepare for regular Home Office work.

Perhaps something like this. It folds up when not in use. Just a thought.

Here‘s my favourite song from his New Album. And I hope, you don‘t assume I Post it to provoke you Michelle. It‘s no anti Christian song despite of the funny role changes he did to the Charakters. To prevent any misunderstandings, I also Post some interpretation Comment I found on the net, as I agree with it:

This song is actually quite deep if you ask me.
It’s about the dichotomy between good/bad; success/failure and how the line between these things is often a bit blurry. That, and that for some they will always be branded in a negative light no matter what they do.
The opening lyrics, “There’s a light on yonder mountain and it’s calling me to shine…There’s a girl over by the water fountain asking to be mine,” suggests that happiness or some level of satisfaction with life is within reach and I should go get it, but I’m going to get pulled away from other things in life (some out of my hands) that are going to keep me in this perpetual cycle of coming up short. The fact that he ends the song about where he started, demonstrates this too. He uses Jesus to demonstrate that many of the mistakes we make begin with the best intentions.
Later when he says, “Me, I got scabs on my knees from kneeling way too long. It’s about time I played the man and took a stand where I belong,” he’s clearly saying that he can’t always count on outside forces to help him and if anything is going to change, he has to actually do something different. Again, break the cycle.
The song is filled with moral symbols of “good” and “bad”. He’s definitely not the only one stuck in this rut. So many people are out there trying to do good, but something about the world is making it easier to do the opposite. And we’re not talking about evil, just those things that people have to do to survive in a world that has already passed final judgement on them.
So, he’s giving up potential happiness for the familiar. Ironically, some of those things that define happiness and comfort are the very things that a PRIEST MUST GIVE UP to be considered “good”. So again, what’s good?
At the end of the day, so many of us “outlaws” are in the same boat.

Beside of the lyrics, I love this Calm but typical fat E Street Band Sound which carries you instantly when the full band sets in.

I don’t assume anyone is provoking me unless they are provoking me. I can tell the difference. If I can’t, it’s because you’re doing it wrong. Just my opinion. Provocateur’s probably see it differently. I listened to the song earlier and I’m going to spend the morning meditating on it. Should make for great music if I choose the right workout.

If he had faith, he would know his best intention, flawed as it is, will produce the intended result. Unfortunately, most of us admire our own work too much. Giving God the glory takes the credit away from us. Who here can tolerate sharing the glory with God, Whom they cannot see but knows He exists? Not many. I can count them in one finger.

I’m really going to have to go back and listen to the words to this song.

Maybe one of these days they will grow tired of living in the dark and let the light in. I don’t think that’s something we should be concerned with. Do you know what the Bible says about men who try to do good without God? There is a way which seems right or good to a man but it’s end is destruction. Proverbs.
When a man goes out in the field, his work testifies to his character. With the advent of the internet, a man’s work is seen in his words because he reveals his heart and the world is ready to stand in judgment.
The world has judged me before they even knew me. They judged me harshly while I was praying for God to forgive their harsh judgements and receive them in His Kingdom anyway. I don’t seek pity here. I seek the truth in all of us. I know what that truth is and I’m sorry the the rest of the world doesn’t know. But you can’t tell people the truth if they don’t want to hear it. At best, you can just fall in with them and act as if you are the nut in their morning cereal. I personally don’t care anymore about their work. On its face, their work is destructive to my soul and I’m not going to be their punching bag any longer. My Savior is much bigger than their little words and I’m starting to enjoy the fight. I have learned all I need to know about me and I learned why I’m here. They can surrender and change the way they operate against me or die trying. The choice us theirs. I do not care.

That sounds like a program line in brainwashing. WHERE DID YOU PICK IT UP?
Was it just dirty ears preventing hearing? Or did the laziness allow the bacteria to take over the thinking. When it outnumbered synapses I’m sure it got quite seductive and scary. Would you want a lose count like that as if it were sperm?

That’s me fed up with the way you talk to me. I don’t care how you label it. You sound like a criminally brainwashed participant.

When I said surrender I didn’t say you had to confess. There’s a difference, you know. Go check the dictionary for proof. Take it any way you wan, twist it around and make it your own lie. I do not care.

Also from his new Album, despite he wrote this song when he was only 22. He‘s one of a kind.

Song For Orphans

Well the multitude assembled
And tried to make the noise
Them black blind poet generals
And restless loud white boys
Times grew thin
And the axis grew somehow incomplete
Where instead of child lions
We had aging junkie sheep
Well how many wasted
Have I seen signed “Hollywood or bust”
They left to ride the ever ghostly Arizona gusts
Cheerleader tramps
And kids with big amps sounding in the void
High society vamps
Ex-heavyweight champs mistaking soot for soil
So break me now big Mama
As Old Faithful breaks the day
Believe me my good Linda
The aurora will shine your way
The confederacy’s in my name now
The hounds are held at bay
The axis needs a stronger arm
Do you feel your muscles play
Well the doorstep blanket weaver
Madonna pushes bells
From house to house
I see her giving last kisses and wishing well
To every gypsy mystic hero
That the kids might find a place
Who get lost forever to mom and pop
On their weekends out in space
Well sons they search for fathers
But the fathers are all gone
The lost souls search for saviors
But saviors don’t last long
Those nameless questless renegade brats
Who live their lives in song
They run the length of a candle
With a goodnight whisper, then they’re gone
So break me now big Mama
As Old Faithful breaks the day
Believe me my good Linda
The aurora will shine your way
The confederacy’s in my name now
The hounds are held at bay
The axis needs a stronger arm
Do you feel your muscles play
Yeah
Well the missions are filled with hermits
They’re looking for a friend
The terraces are filled with cat-men
Just looking for a way in
Those orphans jumped on silver mountains
Lost in celestial alleyways
They wait for that old tramp Dog Man Moses
He takes in all the strays
Now don’t you grow on empty legends
Or lonely cradle songs
Billy the Kid was just a bowery boy
Who made a living twirling his guns
The night she’s long and lanky
And she speaks in a mother tongue
She lullabies the refugees with amplifier’s hum
So break me now big Mama
As Old Faithful breaks the day
Believe me my good Linda
The aurora will shine your way
The confederacy’s in my name now
The hounds are held at bay
The axis needs a stronger arm
Do you feel your muscles play
The confederacy’s in my name now
The hounds are held at bay
The axis needs a stronger arm
Do you feel your muscles play

Sorry. I got bored here.

I got bored of his simpleminded tripe 40 years ago.

40 years ago? That’s a long time to have to deal with simpleminded tripe. I wouldn’t want to be the tripe.

I try not to play anymore more of Linkin Park’s music and especially nothing of Chester’s. It just feels like it is too soon off the tragedy still although it has been years.
It looks like there was little left of him in his last performance compared to his first. And just too much pain.
