Few can match the powerful vocals of Simon Le Bon. Duran Duran had some very haunting melodies and tones. They were uplifting and incredibly depressing at other times.
Melancholy-sad and pensive
Itās hard to decide which on which version of White Lines. The original makes me sick just at the sight of that powder getting disintegrated. It feels like I just grab a toilet scrub brush. I suppose I should make the connection, itās not a better vision, itās the cause of the vision.
This version is just cold. Reminds me of A Clockwork Orange.
I guess I canāt really complain since Gunda posts Sting and Bruce Springsteen, but god theyāre awful.
Aww, that was fun and entertaining. Thankx you, thinki.
This is one of my favorite chick flicks. It came out the same month I moved in with Hubby. He rarely watches movies but he has sat patiently with me and watched this movie several times.
A total different musical direction, but I love it very much and way more than the original, because of the missing, ugly rap part.
Reg posted something about Ronald Reagan and even mentioned an old movie he was in. I just realized how similar he looked as a young actor to James Comey. Then the Buddy Holly song popped into my head. Then this actual song by Buddy Holly.
Itās pretty obvious this song is about homosexuality and the mockery they have to endure for their lifestyle. Not to be confused with their penalty. Like most all of her songs, it has a great beat.
You now support the homosexual lifestyle, Michele?
No. I just liked the sound of the music.
