somehow your assurance doesnt convince me at all, ai makes much more sense to me:

Lip-syncing is generally done better and more seamlessly today due to advancements in technology, but it is also far more common and harder to detect than in the past.
While in the 1960s–1980s lip-syncing was often used simply for TV convenience and was sometimes visibly imperfect, modern performances use sophisticated vocal tracks, pitch correction, and subtle backing tracks that make it nearly impossible for the average audience member to distinguish between live and recorded vocals.

Here is a comparison of lip-syncing today versus the past:

Lip-Syncing Today (Modern Era)

  • Technological Perfection: Modern lip-syncing is highly advanced, utilizing studio-recorded tracks, pitch correction (Auto-Tune), and backing tracks that are meticulously blended to hide inconsistencies.
  • Prevalence in Live Shows: It is considered standard practice, particularly in pop music, high-intensity dancing, or for major performances (e.g., the Super Bowl) to ensure “perfection” and avoid technical mishaps.
  • “Hybrid” Performances: Many modern artists use backing tracks that feature their own voices, making it difficult to determine when they are actually singing.
  • Enhanced Scrutiny: Despite the technology, high-definition videos and social media make it easier to catch mistakes compared to the past.

Lip-Syncing in the Past (e.g., 1950s–1990s)

  • TV Variety Staple: Lip-syncing was standard on shows like The Ed Sullivan Show and American Bandstand because of technical constraints.
  • Lower Precision: It was often obvious that performances were not live, with actors or singers sometimes failing to sync with the music.
  • Scandalous Exposure: When lip-syncing was exposed, it caused major scandals, famously destroying the career of Milli Vanilli in the late 1980s.
  • More “Live” Expectations: Despite its use on television, audiences historically demanded live performances for concerts, which was considered the standard for true artists.

Conclusion:
While the art of lip-syncing is done more convincingly today, the demand for “perfection” over raw talent has made it a default tool, reducing the spontaneity of live performance.

You’re probably going to think I’m a bad person or mean for saying this but your AI is long-winded and boring. It is not difficult to detect lip-syncing as these past performances prove, to a paying audience who doesn’t take kindly to lip-syncing.

lol not at all, just tells me you have the attention span of a tiktoker

sure, well to be fair i think all of the “artists” in your clip sound awful with or without lipsyncing, so i dont understand why their audience would complain since they got exactly what they paid for

As usual, you misjudge. My attention span is much shorter.

Yes, Dahling. Your own voice sounds so much better to you.

No one expects you to understand that which is beyond your comprehension.

lol yes and i dont even pretend to be an artist or a singer!

I heard this on Youtube short and looked up. A nice cover.

reg loving beatles songs now! nice

The Beatles are horrible noise, but this was a nice cover. I should post some Schlager music next.

lol yes gunda will appreciate that

I like Schlager a lot, mainly from the 50s and 60s, though.

I heard a different song by this band on Bayern 2. But while searching for it, I stmbled over this Pachelbel version again. I still love it and find it the best modern version of it.

It’s magical.

dont like his voice, the music or the way they look or move, or how it all sounds together but it has emotion! so i like it anyways

(yes, i looked it up they identify as a man and prefer to be called chris or rahim redcar now)

I call her gladly by whatever name she wants.

lol you will call him gunther or chris but you refuse to call him a he or a man?

Omg I love it. It’s the kind of song I’d never play normally but appreciate when I encounter it. She looks troubled but that almost adds to the appeal.

EDIT: “Take my hand and forget that I am just another woman. Even though you see me, you’ll never let me be your boyfriend. But tell me lies.” “One that makes me forget I wish I was another person.” She doesn’t sound confused. She knows exactly what she is. She doesn’t sound happy about it, but she also doesn’t sound confused about it. She’s aware.

EDIT2: I totally love this version. She’s a tortured soul and that makes it even more moving.

It’s nice you like it. But I remember the first time I post it, you hated it.

I believe that. I don’t remember it but I believe it. That is quite common with me.

On a personal and equal respect level, I would even call someone whatever she/he or even it likes. But if that person demands it by law and getting the rights which come with it, then I support such a law only, if that person already got the adequate sexual organ by operation. Otherwise I would kick any wannabe fake-female into the nuts on the womens toilette, for example (no, not literally, but it should stress out my point).

I understand that you weren’t talking about this particular woman, but she’s not a fake male. She knows she’s a woman. She just hates it. I have no issue with her. To me she’s totally credible. Messed up but credible.
