Sleeping at Last. An artist I wouldnât have detected without Lucifer. I am so thankful. I and my soul love many of his songs. And I love this video. Couldnât be any better.
This is the most sharp, brutal song I know. A blade of truth wrapped in beautiful poetry and served with love.
Great song, despite I am not restless at all. But also when someone prefers to develop roots and keeping the same job or prefers the same or at least not every time a different vacation destination (yes guilty of that charge), that doesnât mean to not be active and open for new experiences. I just dont feel the need to change my work every few years (or ever) or vacation location or whatever. I donât get bored at work, rather the opposite, the more I know the better. For my results but also for my personal wellbeing. I thrive on known territory. Never felt the need to break a record either, lol.
My favourite passage, lyric wise. Thats what love is about. I know so many relationships, where this isnât a goal by both. And then I am relieved I am single. I wouldnât make any significant compromise anymore. Contrary to the past. Which always was a mistake I had to learn. A friend of mine, with whom I do the wellness/spa trips, lives in such a relationship. Trapped, as she doesnât have a financial income worth the name and additionally has a mentally handicapped son whos father has no interest in.
âBut I want to be here
Truly be here
To watch the ones that I love bloom
And I want to make room
To love them through, and through, and through, and through
The slow and barren seasons, tooâ
Thatâs the first song by Sleeping at Last I heard, while watching a fan video of Lucifer. I was instantly captivated by that sensitive music sound and lyrics.
I put up both videos. The original by SAL as well as that fan video. Itâs my second favourite fan made video after Only you.
Was there a group that connected more clicks in the 90s than the Prodigy? EDM, punk, hip hop, goth, moshers. Their biggest hit was probably âSmack my bitch up.â It helped make them famous, but they definitely didnât stay famous. Keith Flint died a few years ago, but they are still touring. They are still probably the best band to work out to of all time.
That music is even worse than the music my gym uses. I am always more relieved about being able to leave that work out music than having finished the exercises. But with such music like the Prodigies, I definitely would change the gym, lol.
Going to visit my family today and tomorrow I have to work (the dogs stay at home). Therefore I basically have no time for myself this weekend. Why doesnât finally someone clever invent beaming up.
But I am able to make up for this stressful weekend with the coming weekend. Will go on a wellness weekend from Friday after work (early afternoon) till Sunday. That little spa is not that far away, I guess maybe a 40 minute drive, if even. They have a brewery too and a Bavarian restaurant. This will be delicious and relaxing. I canât imagine doing anything better with my free time. I love warm water pools. Only a pool bar would add to this pleasure, lol.
So, before I have to go on the Autobahn, some relaxing music for me.
I donât like most of your music but I really liked that one.
Since I heard this colorful and rhythm changing, fun song on the radio, I was skimming the net for it. Took me a while but now I found it. Great music, great lyrics. I really need good music boxes.
Ozzy passed away.
rip⌠bats all over the world will be relieved
So will my ears.
To me their best song.
I dislike that band but Isa likes their Thunder song. Is Imagine Dragons going to be the new binge?
