Makes me think of Donald Trump when he was younger with his hair and appearance.

Rocket. Busted with the sugar.

That might be the worst music group in human history.

I donā€˜t believe in the existence of him or any deity. But I am sure, if he really exists, he is an arsehole and biggest failure ever, directly responsible for immense suffering for all creatures he created.

BUT. They brought this song yesterday morning on the radio on my way to work and it made me happy and smiling. So, for the time this song lasts, let’s pretend he isn’t an arsehole but the most kindred spirit with a gigantic heart. Sometimes we all need some comfort and a belief into the good powers.

According to Christian mythology, God killed his own son because he was mad about stuff other people did. If anyone else did that, we’d throw them in prison forever.

God let his son get killed. Anyway, I agree to the rest you said.

Furthermore, he tested if one of his humans is fanatic enough to murder his own son for worshipping God.

True, but God took credit for the killing.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Great song!

I am pretty exhausted from the first week after rehab, which was extremely full packed with stuff and even more stuff to keep up to. Plus 3 full days of physical project meetings. Then the heat on top.

Somehow the song by Michelle Shocked ā€žAnchorageā€œ made it into my mind, but I canā€˜t find the video on YouTube and VEVO. Maybe because she turned into a crazy religious fanatic. Or simply mentally retarded. Whatever. That song and that video of her skating and with that nice cap on, I fondly remember. I liked her boyish style and her smile. She was cool in that video. Somehow a role model to me back then. A pity she became a nut job.

But my online search let me discover this nice but unknown song by Indigo Girls.

It’s on Facebook. Click here.

Reggie just called America a toilet. With all the **** that passes through you might be right.
You should also be very afraid with all that power and how sanitized it’s kept
What perspective do you think you’ll have of America if you try crossing that border again and running your mouth?

I remember this song and video. Guy looks like he was handling a severe anxiety attack well.

What a terrible version. But thanks for trying.

It sounds better if you turn the volume off, but so does most of your music. Ever helpful.

Not what I actually wanted to post, but I somehow stumbled over this song and both, the song as well as the video, captivated me. First, I only was attracted by the lush and cool forest, as it’s already way too warm outside for me at not even 9 am. But then the voice of Cohen, the lyrics and the video hypnotized me and I had to listen and to watch till the end. I donā€˜t get the message despite I know every word. But the video seem not really to fit and I disliked the very end. It’s silly cause unreal and the whole mix does not make any sense to me. But first I need to walk my dogs to get right in time to the Cafe Cornetti in Regensburg. If we even get a place.

Such a sad personal song. Seems, she loved Dylan very much and gave him more than he deserved. I hope I am wrong in my interpretation of this song, which I just found.

Haven’t listened to Bruce Cockburn quite some time. He wrote a few master pieces. Like this one here. Beautiful lyrics. Beautiful calm melody. Soul food.

No time for me these days for pacing the cage, though. Looking forward to.
