Ok, here’s the original by Reed.
Ok, I definitely prefer Gabriel’s voice and arrangement. But thanks for this song, Lou, lol.
i have been, but i will refrain from doing these things from now on since you prefer to see me trolling ![]()
thank goodness
You either are too dumb to comprehend what to troll someone means, or you are just a bitter and miserable person. Both cases are pretty sad.
one doesnt exclude the other
just informing you that your actions have consequences
We would say “breadth”. The third definition applies.
I tried but his mumbly English eludes me. I got: “This is the last one from the (unintelligible) album and, uh, it’s the song with which we’ll lead (unintelligible) Anderson (?). It’s called the Power of the Heart.”
Thank you very much. I understood it‘s the proposal song by Lou Reed, lol.
True. Which would make it even worse, lol.
I wish it would!
i liked your previous answer better
I bet.
Never heard of that band, wasn‘t even able to concentrate enough to the song for that I still can‘t say if I like it - but that cheap video is just fascinating, lol! It even won a Grammy. Justly so. Great performance!
PS: I still hate that
down there.
ditto, dont remember ever hearing or seeing this clip and its 15 years old! and wont mind seeing or hearing it ever again
one of the comments said they did it in 1 take!.. if so thats impressive!! (even if they must have practised it a hundred times before shooting it in 1 take lol)
I would have posted the writer of that song, Bob Dylan, but I like Joels version a tad bit more. Adeles version is even better than Joels, but I wanted a male voice this time.
One of our wedding songs was the Joan Osborne version. I didn’t know who wrote it when I heard her sing it, but knew it wasn’t her. Garth Brooks has the most famous version. I did look it up and was surprised that Dylan wrote such a sappy love song. No doom and gloom. Our other wedding song was “Hang Together” by Ivy Levan, who seems to have disappeared.
I don‘t find it sappy at all. It‘s the perfect love song to me. Along with Christina Perris A Thousand Years.
I do like a thousand years. We might be viewing the word “sappy” differently. It’s not an insult to me. It’s kind of a positive song for Dylan. I also didn’t know he wrote wagon wheel. The first time I heard wagon wheel was by the Adam Ezra Group, who is only popular in New England. Then, I heard Darius Rucker do a version and knew that he didn’t steal it from Adam Ezra. Dylan, again.
I can’t remember if I’ve ever posted this. Some Lithuanian guy. I usually don’t like male voices, but this guy is brilliant. Pop culture anthem vibe. Reminds me a bit of Grönemeyer.
Slavs singing in Swahili. Brilliantly.
Scots going mad. They are not an attractive race, but that sexy skinny girl can dance.
Some girl singing Man In The Mirror better than Michael did.
And that reminded me of this Motown vibe from my youth.
Some Italian girls singing the Book of Love. I really love female voices.
