I always loved this part of Mussorgskys Pictures of an Exhibition. It’s so noble, uplifting and powerful. Sorry for Ukraine, having the Western countries as “friends/allies”. With them you really don’t need any enemy anymore.
When the church bells set in, I really get stomach aches, given the terrible war and future they (but also the West, especially Europe) has to face, after Russia won. Facing the hypocrisy of the West, I will spit every time I hear another moral speech or celebration regarding WW II. I have to smirk, remembering that this was an allegedly “moral” war or that entering it happened for the “right” reason. Fuck yourself. Not a single country learned from that war or entered it out of moral reasons.
I didn’t remember their version, so I was looking up. I must say, I like this version very much. It’s a nice mix of the classic piece and modern instruments. And still way better than most crap the actual music generation produces.
Ugh. I have to take back what I said about this version by ELP. It’s only good at the beginning. The rest is awful.

And the other guy is a women hating hypocrite who mostly loves money and himself. Who proved his own words wrong so many times. And Dan l still can‘t assess enough to say anything about him.
