Facebook

This is great. I love this.

EDIT: Sadly it is still up for me.

it is? strange… its always down for me

It’s not April 1. I don’t know.

Oh, Fun. He should call himself Facesbooked. Horizon World sounds too much like a Star Trek episode.

I’ve been reading up on this metaverse thing. Some say when it’s perfected so that in virtual reality the appearance of humans has been transitioned from animated to the appearance of reality, people won’t be able to discern a difference after spending time in that state of mind.

It’s true.

This is the new droopy and slightly creepy logo.

lol its amazing how so much money can encourage people to come up with such an interesting name and logo

It looks like my grandmothers bra.

Amazing all the interesting ways you can use a logo.

lol.

And rest assured people will in this case.

No doubt. He’s a magnet for memes now.

As a mother of 3 with 10 children, I fail to see the humor.

That’s odd, given that you’re the one who made the comment.

That’s right and I’m still crying over it. :weary:

Facebook has lost half its value since September.

I thought this was interesting. After selling our information, Facebook has decided to discontinue location-based features. Now that doesn’t mean Facebook has stopped tracking us. It just means we can’t search Nearby Friends, Weather alerts, Location History and Background Location.

what will smart people do without phonebook nearby friends?
prolly resort to dropping rocks on sticks to start a fire

No doubt. Rubbing them together is illogical thinking, for smart people.

Nobody used those anyway. Facebook’s whole gig is erasing distance between people. I’m just as close (online) to people halfway around the world as I am to someone down the street.

and you are better off for it
not close at all
i mean

You never used the weather alert? I have several weather apps. A necessity in a place where people often experience severe weather.

That’s not exactly true, Reg. Facebooks gig is collecting data on the personal lives of its users. Google’s gig is to collect data on personal interests and Twitter collects data on personal beliefs. There is no privacy anywhere. It’s invasive and these 3 have too much power.
