Beto is a bit of an attention whore but he’s on the right side of most issues so I hope he wins.
He’s behind now, but lots of time. Even though Abbott seems like a horrible person, he might be a slightly less horrible of a person than Ted Cruz.
Despite Abbott’s awful stances and verbal blunders his approval rating hasn’t been affected. I don’t see how it could go down if it hasn’t already.
Right wingers in the US don’t really care if you say stupid things or even rape the occasional woman as long as you vote against free medical care, abortion and tax increases for the rich.

Over the weekend our hardworking political representatives passed the Inflation Reduction Act. They are going to hire 87,000 new IRS workers to audit you.
Getting our moneys worth out of that inflation reduction bill.

This is a no brainer. You know what happened after Canada made pot legal? Nothing. Nothing at all. The country looks exactly the same as it did before. Well, except for the “no pot smoking” signs you now see in some places.

No-brainer, indeed. Nobody charged with simple possession is in federal prison.
You don’t need to be in prison to get a pardon, Michele.
There are people in federal prison for marijuana charges that haven’t been pardoned after Biden said, “I think we should decriminalize marijuana and anyone who has a record — should be let out of jail.”
