The eviction ban ends tonight. Instead of voting one way or the other, pseudodemocrats decided to start their 6 week vacations.
I’m not totally against ending the ban. There are problems with the ban. If I still owned my old condo and had a tenant that gave me zero dollars for the last 16 months, that would not be good. I assume I’d be allowed to sell it. The cons of ending the ban seem worse. I’d assume crime will go up. I’d let someone stay in my guestroom, but not for free. There are jobs everywhere here. Unfortunately, the minimum wage is $7.25. No typo. I made 8 dollars an hour 20 years ago working at a clothing store unloading a truck.
