That’s possible but then, so do you.

Good morning Michele. I think most people have some level of fear. It’s crazy not to. It’s when the fear is irrational that it’s a problem. You fear globalism, I fear right wing extremism.

Good morning, Will.

HOw do you change your avatar picture?

I don’t know what you mean.

I don’t fear globalism. Globalism is here and has been here since the advent of the internet. I fear globalists with an agenda. I do t know why you fear right wingers. You may have to elaborate if you want me to understand that.

Because of what I saw them do on Jan.6 in DC.

Those people were baited to follow the crowd.

and they eagerly did. What is your point?

My point is that people were paid to lead right wingers away from a peaceful protest to cast a bad light on them. I’m not excusing the behavior of anyone that fell into that trap. I’m just saying, it was a peaceful protest and the people that led the insurrection were linked to Antifa.

Oh God. Part of the big lie. You still buy that?

Only as much as you reject the validity of it.

that would be 100%.

I wasn’t.

I hope so. Again, no sarcasm. I have often felt a global, universal health care system with $0 out of pocket to those seeking treatment would be a huge step forward for us as a society.

I wish you would stop promoting it as free when it’s not.

I didn’t say it was free. Nothing is free. I said $0 out of pocket to those seeking treatment.

By the way, while it is not free, it is far cheaper than your silly US system.

Why is it a silly system? Because it’s free for the poor?

I wish you would stop promoting it as free when it’s not.

And it is woefully inadequate for the poor. And debilitatingly expensive for the middle class. It is an excellent system for the rich.

All insurance is expensive, including your single-payer, which takes something close to 40% of your wages. My taxes and insurance combined aren’t that much.

God, Michele, it’s like talking to an eternal fountain of misinformation. Our healthcare costs nothing near 40% of our wages. Our overall taxation is very similar to that of the US. We also pay far less for healthcare (per capita and by total dollars) than you do, and nobody here has to even know what the word “copay” means.

God, Reg, cut me some slack. You’re the one that told me that. Again, another one of those years ago conversations.

You pay near 40%. If that’s a combination of taxes and insurance, so be it. My bad!

Well I don’t understand how that can be. I don’t pay 40%.

Again, I don’t understand that but here’s an opportunity for you to teach me another lesson.

Nobody should. It’s built into your astronomical taxes.
