The message should be clear by now. It would be better to shut the country down than to provide healthcare to illegal immigrants at the expense of taxpayers.

I support them becoming citizens if they are productive members of society. As long as they are working or in school. It gets a little gray when they are elderly. I would say if they are elderly, they can stay with no benefits.

At whatever age they are too old to benefit society. They’d be as much of a burden as our current elderly, but might have contributed nothing. Generally, when they can’t work anymore. If they are working, they can be on medicare.

I don’t think there are lots of elderly Mexicans moving here that can’t work. It’s more expensive here and they would have no social security or pensions. I get that someone that has contibuted nothing to medicare their entire life, should not be able to use it, though. Some Americans don’t contribute anything to it, but unfortunately there is not much we can do about that. Those people will also have no social security or pension, if they managed to go their entire life without working. My mother in law never worked and is still collecting alimony at 70 years old, due to no social security or pension payments. She must be using alimony to pay her part of medicare. I think my parents have their medicare costs come out of social security up front.

Yes to the first part and no to the second, although their family hopefully is here to stay with. It’s really about have you contributed anything. If I moved to Norway at age 65, I don’t expect them to pay for a transplant for free. The ladder type of thinking would eliminate medicare and medicaid. No seniors would be able to go to the doctors. I don’t mind contributing to both, but I should be able to use medicare. Even now, it would be much better than paying premiums for CEO luxury homes.
Consequently, you are for open borders, right? Cause borders make no sense if everyone enters is welcome to stay as you only can prove the opposite, if they are already in the country for a while and enough data is collected to say safely if someone contributes enough to society for that he/she is no burden. In many cases, the balance sheet turns negative eventually if they reach retirement age. Regardless if they receive or don’t receive welfare. Many will then end up on the streets or have to become criminals because of no money.
Illegal is a label with a reason. If you enter some country illegally, no money from society should be paid. Lots of abuse and mafia-like fraud happening. Poor people like Roma and Sinti, are exploited by their own few rich folk in Germany. That’s one of many reasons, why the EU has a bad reputation. People move to the countries which offer a good wellfare and social security net, and don’t intend to work and to integrate. I support to deport every illegal, regardless which age and handicap they have, and regardless if my stupid country granted them a legal title later, because their home country doesn’t want them anymore. Their own country should take care of them. If not, I offer them a boat with a hole to try to cross the Mediterranian Sea, if they don’t leave the country voluntarily. I would make them. And I don’t care if anyone is calling me a Nazi for this. Their naivity wants good, I give them that, but all they will manage to bring is chaos, a divided country and at the end, civil unrest if the money is gone.
I support Norway’s system, although not quite as strict. As long as someone will work, I’d welcome them. As an FYI, nobody really wants to move here. Morale is low and many cities have turned into a police state. I wouldn’t move here.

I agree with this. No money should ever be given to illegals.
I don’t know who the Roma and Sinti are but why are they exploited and why doesn’t Germany make them stop? Is it easier to go along with them or are they just too rich and powerful to go against? I believe that’s the problem here.

What difference does it make if they get up and go in to work every day if you know they are breaking the law. Unless breaking the law means nothing. If that’s the case, what differences does it make if they contribute anything?
They are already here. Better for everyone if they just become citizens and pay taxes. Apparently, a lot of them already pay taxes which seems odd. What do you think should be done?
