I’m happy to see this starting to be studied. We need to balance the benefit of lockdown against the price of lockdown. I continue to speculate that more people might have been killed by the lockdown than were killed by covid. I don’t assert that as fact, but I am happy to see it starting to be studied.
That’s probably true, although it is almost certainly true that the lockdown saved more lives than it killed.

We had a big lockdown protest here in Vancouver today. I didn’t see them but I saw videos on FB. “No new normal” and “tear off the mask” chants. People are growing weary.
