Curfew

I guess it is too embarrassing to admit you don’t know. like how to properly eat lobster or order and eat sushi.
Reggie have you had a Colombian Sandwich? How about a Cuban Sandwich? Or a Sicilian? Or hey get this a Sicilian Ice Cream Sandwich, that’s a doozy.

You like yours with nuts?

Did you get a tie yet Reggie?

I own about two dozen ties, Mark, and haven’t worn one for about two years.

Maybe you should pick one up as a souvenir instead of ordering it online. Make your own luck.

No need to order online. I have no plans to wear a tie again in my life. I might if something comes up but I have no plans to and won’t be unhappy if it never happens again.

Last wedding I went to 25% of guys did not wear a tie. I wish I got the memo. Perhaps they will go extinct some day.

I just read this post I made on March 23. Life is almost exactly the same on August 9.

This is frustrating.

Are you going to wear a mask on Halloween?

My woman loves dressing up on Halloween. I’ll do whatever she wants. It’s important to her and not important to me so I do whatever she wants every year on Halloween.

How am I going to handle Canada again? It’s 24°C (75°F) outside and I’m freezing. Current plans are to be in Canada for December. This is not going to go well.

Do you think your car will start?

lol no.

Ugh.

I made friends with the building manager before I left Canada. He owns a unit in the building. Young Indian guy with a beautiful wife. I really like him. Anyway, I pay him a bit of cash to go to my apartment every week, collect the mail, look at my car, and send me an email telling me all is well with a few photos. The photos of my apartment make me homesick. The photos of my car make me want to vomit. lol. It’s covered in dust and looks like it should be hauled away. I hope there’s no significant damage but at very least it’ll need a boost, an oil change and a tuneup immediately upon return. I wish I could figure out a way to live without a car in Vancouver but my life there would be significantly negatively impacted if I got rid of it.

There are a few mobile mechanics here if you can’t get it to a shop. I’m sure Vancouver is more civilized if that is the right word than rural new England.

You could probably find someone to come to your car assuming your property lets him or her do business in a parking garage.

But assuming you can at least drive it 5 miles you might be ok.

Yes. I’m going to wait until I’m home. I couldn’t imagine this curfew lasting past April. Then the idea of July was just ridiculous. I’ts now August and I’m hoping for December. I won’t be at all surprised if I can’t be home by spring, however, so any steps I take now would be foolish.

True.
