This pretty much the norm in Catholic countries with poverty. The governement doesn’t seem to care, the church can offer little help. It’s just the attitude of some people who can influence the minds of others. It is a lack of respect that devalues faith and the lives steeped in it.
There is a sickness that is described here. It’s just easier to deal with the sick mind rather than the masses, but the sick mind knows that.
Have a good look, listen, and read Reg. The Church doesn’t seem to be working. Maybe you can get it to work. Just like fixing up an old beat up bus for those kids. But I doubt it. Even to this day you still pretend you are holding out in your own virtuosity and you can’t say for sure as if ti makes peopel plead and cater to you more. Look at the woman in the video leading the girl away.

Not done with this topic. Yes it is a trap. Especially Catholic Church which is described as an institution moreso than an organization. What were you and your girlfriend other than two rats anyway before you met each other? And what is keeping you together? Just take it a further. You will find you will get back out what you have put in and more so if you put in a whole lot. Part of the faith youwill find will be faith in yourself.
You wil have a deeper understanding on being crucified with Christ when you feel all the weight of the sins of others heaped on you. Then you will see people i na whole different light and be a much better judge. Keep in mind people prefer stubborn and stable members in a church. The presence of The Lord is like extreme blood pressure, or barometric pressure makingit hard to breathe, or threatening a prolapse! Not too much presence and lots of members to distribute the intensity.
With numbers and synergy a congregation can tolerate the presence of The Lord, but rest assured nobody absolutley nobody wants God in their everyday life as an individual entity I don’t care what they say.
I doubt this will happen. I think the idea of one person paying for another person’s sins is ridiculous.
People who feel the need for religion usually create a God in their own image and assign him absurd attributes that align with their world view. Radical Muslims create a fictional God who thinks it’s ok to cut off the hands and feet of other people. Some American Christians create a fictional God that lets children die because they can’t pay for medical care. Buddhists create a fictional fat God who speaks in riddles and they think those riddles sound wise. Trump supporters create a fictional fat orange God who is a champion for the average person despite having built fabulous wealth from nothing and who will finally drain the swamp. Once these people have created their (usually sick and always fictional) God, it’s easy for them to live with him in their everyday lives.
A sin - eater is a person who consumes a ritual meal in order to spiritually take on the sins of a deceased person. The food was believed to absorb the sins of a recently dead person, thus absolving the soul of the person. Sin - eaters , as a consequence, carried the sins of all people whose sins they had eaten.
Who will eat the sins of the sin eater?
I figured the sins died with the person. Who knew.

A lot of things are no mystery to me anymore. I’m no authority of the Church or any religion, but I got a lot of flak for religions I really had nothing to do with. I was getting flak and accusations for voodoo and santeria from christians I had nothing to do with or affiliation just because the fart uplift air cushion they were being lazy on got a little too much of being just that. So that is one of the reasons I stay out of church and away from christians. There are a lot of problems people have they throw off on others to make them faultless and blameless in their own minds. It always leads to tragedy so I stay away.
I used to plenty of Bible reading and devout christians would accuse me of not reading the bible or tell me to read my bible in front of others to make it appear they had a spiritual gift word of knowledge word of wisdom etc.
The accusation was, I learned and later affirmed for myself by relying on faith in myself, my own knowledge of God, and trusting my onw judgement and character, that they were opening the book and just blankly staring at it making no effort to read it on their own. They were expecting me to burn my brain out trying to overpower them to read it in a display of mastery while they stay in drunken silliness. Constant lies to tell me that I couldn’t read it by myself. That wasn’t true I could be cold enough to say no to people when they made demands liek that even if it cost me friendships. I could lose the weight of freeloaders no matter how much they told me otherwise. I wasn’t get anything I required from people like this to begin with.
I don’t fall for that stuff anymore. Be it the bible, radios. chess, dieting, exercise, work, etc. You can read it for your yourself you dash yourself, you do it on the cornerstone and you get broken and forsaken.
I hope you didn’t go last Sunday or any other day or any other church for any other reason.
