Sorry Mark, heading to Sabaneta right now (7:49 am) for church. I’ll probably give money to both the church and some beggars today, too.
Stay away from children. Just because you are not in Canada does not mean you are untouchable by law.

Church is a good thing. Do not ruin the Church and the reputation of the Church and bring shame upon it. Stay out of Church and away from its members. You are just trying to get close for the wrong reasons. You cannot control yourself.
Why are you there?
The woman likes church, Mark. We are talking a lot about moving to Sabaneta so we decided to go there for church this week. It’s in the far south end of the city and some gringos I know meet for breakfast on Sundays in the south so we joined them before the church service. It was at an expensive hotel. $50 for two breakfasts, which is a lot for Colombia. They’re all older Americans. Not a very exciting crowd. Still, it was a chance to speak English.
After breakfast with the gringos, we went to church in Sabaneta and walked around the village for awhile. It’s a sleepy little town but I like it very much. The population is older than where we are in Medellín but that’s normal for a sleepy little town. It’s surrounded by the Andes and is very pretty. We had lunch at a bistro in the park and then went home.
Do these gringos play chess?
No but lots of people in the park do. Actually one of the gringos posted on FB looking for chess players awhile ago so maybe I’m wrong.
I’m not close to them. These are generally loud, older, American, NRA members. Most of them are only in Colombia because they can’t afford to live or can’t get laid back home. They range from 50 to 200 lb overweight. I am content seeing them once a year.

Why do you go to Chruch Reggie? You don’t believe in God. You disavow Jesus Christ. You still play the stupid silly agnostic card like you are holding out with your virginity towards any full commitment.
You look at, continue to look at, and read a lot of perverse material. Myabe some are cases in the news but you get over obsessed and say hurtful things in jest that torment victims and perpetuate the cycle even greater…and also increase you chance.
That is a Catholic Church and I am not arguing Catholics are not Christians. But its workings are a bit different and adhering to tradition. They don’t have bible studies or one one counseling sessions with Pastor. You didn’t attend a day of Catechism. And you don’t confess. Sure Christians advocate confessing to one another but this just makes advocates an illegal ring when you want to form with Michele.
Why are you there? Just because “The woman wants to show off her new bf now hubby?”.
Keep in mind you are no longer under God’s protection. Yes you may have your GPS but not God’s Protective Services any longer. Too many silly jokes, insults, and just risks, and your feelng of envy that you should are entitled to experiences others have privileged themselves to.
You will find lost souls who have intent but to do nothing but steal, kill, rape, rob and put all the things off that torment them will seek you out. Hey, and when you need your faculties the most just remember, your are too fat and unhealthy and drunk to do a thing. Make sure you not only have the label of an easy target for crime but you actually are one and it stops abuse cycles and works for the greater good.
The Lord can work with tragedy like that. And it is best overall if you continue to enter hsi house with your intentions and smug iniquity.
Try to keep up, Mark. My woman is Catholic. She doesn’t obey any of the rules of the church but she enjoys going and I have no objection to joining her.
All true. Churches generally permit non-believers to attend so this is not an issue.

Stay out of Church. You are throwing off too much of your dead spiritual weight without doing anything for maintenance or understanding of the workings of the Church machine and system.
Beware without catechism you will likely experience and episode of “cat schism” from the slightest bump in, eye contact, or temporary loss of any of the senses and feelings and a simple question. As a couple you shoud do something outside of the church in private. Not just throw around money. Some churches won’t even accept money when you go to mass. Don’t be stupid, the spirit of the world is in you. Catch-as-catch-can might just catch you very unawares and off guard.
Let me stress it again silly. If you are going just for “good humor” I suggest you don’t. Instead by some ice cream of the same name maybe a rosary and a guide with pictures to praying it with or without an old cassette or cd and stay home with your wife and watch something like The Cross and the Switchblade.
Do you even know the mass schedule as they are often repeats and dedciations to memebers who have passed away. Other things like the sacred heart etc. The dogmas are just like powerful cylinders in the workings, they could do more than backfire in your face.
But maybe you need that to change your agnosticism and silly demeanor.
Faith without works is dead, I suggest you do a little reading, research and a tune up of the dogmatic.
Maybe two hours in church once a week makes him feel saved.
