thats called circular reasoning (e.g., “I know this is true because I have faith it is true”) its not accepted as logical verification.
In general debates and arguments, the person making a positive claim must provide reasons or evidence for it. You cannot logically demand that someone prove a negative (that something did not happen) when no evidence was provided in the first place. [1]
