Are you sure it works that way? You almost certainly pay more than $13k in taxes. It’s just taken off your pay deposit.

It has an Atkinson cycle, a cvt transmission and is turbo charged. It needs a turbo charge for an Atkinson. Probably won’t last very long.
I have no clue what my next vehicle will be. Disappointing I won’t get an ev credit. Maybe I can change my tax claim next year.

You might be right there. I think I’m confused. Nothing I’m reading is worded well. I definitely pay over 7500 in federal taxes. Probably closer to 40000 between the two of us. I don’t owe at the end of the year. I already paid them. “Owe” should read as “Owed.” It’s almost as if bill lowerre wrote these articles. It’s amazing what one letter can do. It could be the difference between 12500 and 0 dollars.

I just read an article where they added a d to the word, “owe.” That makes me feel better.
The lady was whining because she didn’t pay enough in federal taxes to claim the 7500 credit on her 40000 dollar leaf. I guess she thought the government should pay her for a car. I don’t feel bad for anyone that can buy a 40000 dollar car and not make any money.

I’m not going to. Tesla is leading the battery wars. I like VW’s electrics but Hyundai and Mercedes have the electric cars I like best. I am concerned about how far behind BMW is.

Their earnings call tanked in the last quarter of 2020 and either underperformed or flatlined the last 3 quarters. They lost yesterday but gained most of that back in after hours, which is not uncommon in the markets. That just means you have to hold it a little while to profit.
If you want same day profit, you need to buy into Moderna. Vaccine makers profit almost daily.
