My guess is to just 3 states.
Canadaâs whining and antics against fair trade will come back to bite them, biggly. They better wake up and smell the roses if they are even dreaming about challenging our new policies.
@realDonaldTrump
Based on Ontario, Canada, placing a 25% Tariff on âElectricityâ coming into the United States, I have instructed my Secretary of Commerce to add an ADDITIONAL 25% Tariff, to 50%, on all STEEL and ALUMINUM COMING INTO THE UNITED STATES FROM CANADA, ONE OF THE HIGHEST TARIFFING NATIONS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. This will go into effect TOMORROW MORNING, March 12th. Also, Canada must immediately drop their Anti-American Farmer Tariff of 250% to 390% on various U.S. dairy products, which has long been considered outrageous. I will shortly be declaring a National Emergency on Electricity within the threatened area. This will allow the U.S to quickly do what has to be done to alleviate this abusive threat from Canada. If other egregious, long time Tariffs are not likewise dropped by Canada, I will substantially increase, on April 2nd, the Tariffs on Cars coming into the U.S. which will, essentially, permanently shut down the automobile manufacturing business in Canada. Those cars can easily be made in the USA! Also, Canada pays very little for National Security, relying on the United States for military protection. We are subsidizing Canada to the tune of more than 200 Billion Dollars a year. WHY??? This cannot continue. The only thing that makes sense is for Canada to become our cherished Fifty First State. This would make all Tariffs, and everything else, totally disappear. Canadiansâ taxes will be very substantially reduced, they will be more secure, militarily and otherwise, than ever before, there would no longer be a Northern Border problem, and the greatest and most powerful nation in the World will be bigger, better and stronger than ever â And Canada will be a big part of that. The artificial line of separation drawn many years ago will finally disappear, and we will have the safest and most beautiful Nation anywhere in the World â And your brilliant anthem, âO Canada,â will continue to play, but now representing a GREAT and POWERFUL STATE within the greatest Nation that the World has ever seen!
Can hardly believe that those Canadian punks are attempting to threaten us with turning off electricity. Really low IQ move by Canada.
@realDonaldTrump

Why would our Country allow another Country to supply us with electricity, even for a small area? Who made these decisions, and why? And can you imagine Canada stooping so low as to use ELECTRICITY, that so affects the life of innocent people, as a bargaining chip and threat? They will pay a financial price for this so big that it will be read about in History Books for many years to come!
âYou just wait and see! Iâm gonna kick your ass.â lol. Clownworld.
Reg you keep laughing at the USA and making insults. You donât realize how Americans perceive you.

DAIRY TARIFFS EXPLAINED
Canada uses a system called âSupply Managementâ to manage the production of dairy products. Each farmer is only allowed to make a certain amount of milk for sale in Canada. In exchange, farmers are guaranteed that they will be able to sell a given amount of milk, at a given price. This makes it possible for small farmers to make a stable living instead of relying on government bailouts and Farm Aid concerts in hard times. For the Canadian consumer, this means slightly higher prices on dairy products, but stable pricing and supply from smaller farms.
America uses a different system. Farmers compete with each other to make as much milk as cheaply as possible. Family-owned farms compete head-on with mega-corporation farms, and often wind up selling their farms to the big machine. American farmers use growth hormones and more antibiotics than Canadian farmers in order to boost production cheaply. America also spends 30 billion dollars a year on farm subsidies, some of which is used to keep farmers afloat in times when prices fall too low.
Amercian mega-farms overproduce milk. They make more milk than Americans can drink. They need to do something with this milk, and they look jealously north at our high, stable prices and want to sell us the milk they over-produce.
Under CUSMA, Canada has agreed to a let a certain amount of US dairy into the Canadian market, and any amount higher than that will be levied at a very high tariff (250%?).
As of 2024, we have allowed the USA to supply 18% of our total dairy. Wisconsin alone has more cows than all of Canada. If we removed the high tariff, that number would very quickly approach 100%, putting all of our farmers out of business and forcing Canadians to drink hormone- and antibiotic-laden milk from unvaccinated cows.
The CUSMA deal on dairy is actually a very bad deal for Canadian farmers, and the USâs claim that we are treating them badly is a bald-faced lie.
In 2024, Canadian farmers exported $331 million in dairy products to the US, and American farmers exported $1.14 billion (3.4 times as much) to Canada. As CUSMA comes into full effect, the value of US dairy imports will be five times the value of Canadian dairy exports.
In my opinion, Donald Trumpâs plan for high dairy tariffs in both directions is a good one. Instead of allowing a ridiculously large quota of low-tariff dairy from the Americans, their quota will fall to zero. Canadian farmers will be allowed to produce 18% more product. Canadian consumers wonât see much of a change, except Chapmanâs will produce more flavours because Ben & Jerryâs ice cream wonât be available anymore. The only people who will suffer from Donaldâs plan are American farmers, and they voted for this.
Since when are you a champion for farmers? And you shun and shame people for dairy as well as beef.
You are no champion or representative.
Why donât you have a thick bull neck if you eat all healthy veggies?
Silly egocentric, you donât care. Itâs obvious. Those people will turn on you when they hear your insults and know your opinion of them.
I am not vegetarian, Mark. I am also not aware of healthy eating affecting neck diameter. Unless youâre talking about disgusting rolls of fat on some fat peopleâs necks. Thatâs totally nasty. Omg vomit.
Iâve been admiring the next Deputy Prime minister. To me, he looks like heâs on drugs but who knows. That may just be the way Canadians look. Perhaps itâs resting vaccinated look.
I watched a video recently with Canadian Armed Forces conducting a drill near the North Pole. Thatâs very close to Russia and where Russia keeps expanding and taking resources like natural gas and building all sorts of facilities. Almost 90% of Canadaâs population and infrastructure is not very far from.ots border with the United States and itâs Northern Territory left simply open and undefended.
It is becoming obvious Canada does not have a sufficient military force to defend against Russian aggression and expansion. True they are an ally but they are basically an unsecured border to the United States who wonât push further in the Arctic.
It is getting more and more apparent that the US must have better presence here.
Shouldnât have pushed so hard for BRICS.
It will have the be The United States of America and Provinces of Canada and territories. One North American Nation.
