It’s ok, Nico. I support your marrying your dog or another man or whatever you want.
lol@yourdog. Post lots of pictures, thinkingaboutit. There’s nothing Reg loves more than fact photos.
Obama’s words matter.
Do you support this vulgar and foul-mouthed slogan from the right, Michele?
Absolutely. Of course everyone who has or wants a child wishes to raise it within an intact family. But if that’s not possible due to homosexuality, then I don‘t see any reason to forbid anyone to have a family too. I don‘t want to refer to any God or religion, as that can‘t be any argument when it comes to politics.
I don’t know why you two are unhappy over this. I support and encourage both homosexual marriage and pet marriage in Germany and the Netherlands.
That joke got old, Reggie, but you never showed class. We all know you‘re a homophobe and have a sick interest in bestiality. Just three of your many flaws.
I wonder if blacks in the US will riot today over a black guy being killed, this time by other blacks.
I imagine they will. I would. What this camera shows is barbaric.
I don’t understand how they could hold him up, beat him down and then pick him back up again, over and over. No first-aid offered. Those cameras are going to be a strong witness against them, especially the body cams where you can hear their words and his sounds. I get angry thinking about it. My first question is what provoked them to attack him in a gang-like style? I saw one bodycam video but I haven’t had time to research those clips to really get in their minds, but I will. It is truly disturbing me because these are suppose to be officers of the law.
Memphis was peaceful last night. At least for now.
I wonder how this compares to George Floyd. The officers are black. I think the physical violence and purposeful death in this is worse. At least 7 people there were involved in his murder.
I didn’t watch the video but I imagine it is disgusting. It sounds like cold blooded murder by a bunch of violent thugs wearing police uniforms.
I just don’t see how burning the local pharmacy helps address it, and I hope they don’t do that.
Blame the Castle Rock v. Gonzales supreme court case.
It appears the first responders that did nothing for 20 minutes were fired and not charged. That sounds right.
This case just keeps getting worse. Nine out of nine unfit people.
They aren’t completely off the hook. They should be subpoenaed, if we have a competent judicial system.
They might be brought to court. I don’t think they should be jailed.
If they colluded we should probably know that by now. They still had a duty to render aid immediately.
Well. They certainly won’t be charged with murder.
Not likely but the family has a calling for the first responders to be held accountable because of their failure to render care. To me, that’s overboard. The first responders showed no aggression towards him at all. I would like to see more footage of communication between the Scorpion unit and responders. I’m interested in knowing when the responders first saw Nichols what were they thinking.
Police do not have a duty to render aid.
See Castle Rock v. Gonzales and Deshaney v. Winnebago County.
The police have no legal obligation to protect citizens. Hence, it simply makes them agents of the state to enforce arbitrary laws, whether you did it or not. It’s horseshit. Cops are nothing more than the thuggish arm of the judicial system.
If they are going to call themselves officers of the law, they are required to keep their oath of integrity, which they may have pretentiously done but in reality, they did no such thing.
I think I read this the other day. I don’t know what it has to do with anything. You may have to juxtapose it with this case if you are going to make me understand your view.
I never said they did nor do I think protecting him is even a question. It’s my understanding that the Scorpion unit was established to patrol high crime hotspots where they were suppose to focus on auto thefts, gang-related crimes and drug-related crimes. So why did they stop him in the first place?
In fairness, I was talking about the first responders, who do have a duty to render aid.
Under the EMT Code of Ethics, emergency medical technicians and emergency medical technician-paramedics have an obligation to society to conserve life and alleviate suffering . They must do this without any restrictions based on color, status, race or nationality.
I don’t disagree with this.
