Yes, Chinese manufacturing is complex. They make the best and worst things in the world. Most things on AliExpress are junk, but some things are great. Most things made by large companies for export are excellent. It’s far more than electric cars. Here are a few:
Huawei (from chips to phones)
Xiaomi (all kinds of electronics, the Apple of China)
DJI (the best consumer drones in the world, by far)
Lenovo (top quality computers)
CRRC (best high speed trains in the world)
Solar (China dominates in solar tech, which is simply better than everyone else’s)
Battery Tech (again, China dominates with the best products in the world, by far)
iPhones (most are still made by Foxconn in China)
