I think Trump’s strategy for annexing Canada would be to make the Canadians Republican.
I continue to support the idea of Canada and the two US coasts forming a new country. The middle part of the US could make its own new country, Inbredistan, with the Trump family as hereditary absolute monarchs.

You’re also forgetting the drug and illegal border crossings that hasn’t been addressed yet. Those tariffs will bring Mexico and Canada into submission. The quicker we can get Mexican scum out of here, the quicker our people can take those roofing jobs back. Canada may submit quicker if they have more to lose.

I didn’t say a word about fentanyl but Trump did say there was a drug issue at the northern border.
It’s never about punishing neighbors, for the umpteenth time. It’s about bringing them into submission to our higher standard. According to Trump, it’s a drug-at-the-border issue first but if we happen to get fair trade out of it too then that’s a Trump bonus and that’s Trump killing two birds with one stone, if you will.
Immediately, a clean and secure northern border. Hopefully, fair trade and eventually, maybe, more trade.
