There are no sysops here, Bill. I’m the admin but there’s almost no moderation, and I generally do nothing here in terms of moderation. As far as admin goes, I put up the POM, do backups, upgrade the software when Discourse releases an update, and ban the occasional spammer. It’s very little work.

Did you see this more recent fire? You normally don’t see ships burn like this unless they are attacked. Most of the material used were extremely flame retardant. The is a metal ship on in water that burned for 4-5 days. One of the most intense blazes can be seen from coming from the Island or carrier command center. The entire shipped burned but was not hit by torpedoes or bombs. Normally fires are contained on ships even if attacked as you see in ships even in World War II. The entire ship is burning at several different places all at once it is hard to determine where it started as if started at multiple places like a ghost ship hit by ghost planes .

Me neither. Actually the ship was costly and not worth repairing. I don’t think anything is doing that costs this much. I think everything should be done to avoid another similar price.
The cost of repairing the ship was estimated to be between $2.5 billion and $3.2 billion, The cost and time involved were deemed to be too much by Navy leadership.
