I just assumed if japan and Germany finished with 4 pts, japan would go through since they beat Germany. Then the announcer said that was not the case, lol. That was more nerve-wracking than it should have been.

I wonder if the players think the tiebreaker rules order is as stupid as I do. If there is somehow 3 way tie for 2nd, then goal diff works.
I don’t even understand the rules and don’t care enough to look them up. France is the country for Brasil to fear imo but they lost to Tunisia so maybe they’re not as strong as I’m thinking. Argentina also hasn’t looked strong. Brasil is the only top team that is going as expected right now.
