I didn‘t know that I wrote anything which idolizes Hopkins. I merely said I find his quote correct and I agree to this statement.
I wouldn‘t say that I idolize Tom Ellis. I wrote already regarding him cheating on his first wife, that I totally find it was her correct decision to kick him out. Good for her. I don‘t justify this with anything. If someone is unhappy in a relationship, yet doesn‘t want to leave the kids, talking with the partner is the only right thing to do. There are better solutions also for such a situation than cheating, which only worsens the situation.
Nevertheless, I also acknowledge and respect he went and still goes to a therapist, to deal with the core of his problem. He also has a great relationship with all his three children and now even has a fourth. I didn‘t read anything but praise about him. So, if he cheats again, then I am the first to admit I was wrong about him. He still is damn hot in Lucifer in the seasons 1 till 4, though, even if he would be a total asshole. And the series is the most funny crime series I ever watched.
There has been a lot of excess water use I have seen. People were washing their cars with the whole family everyday using gallons upon gallons of water. Then looking at me like they were caring and extra caring. Even like they were being nice to my car. I never seen them check under the good or tire pressure and often hear their brakes squeak and see a light out. Sometimes they won’t start or sound poor. They just wash the car again.
Like it was doing the community good to waste water. If I even used the hose to rinse something off they would give me looks like I had no right to water. When I lived here before them.
Water takes people’ minds it seems. They even projected their usage on me.
Gene Hackman played in one of the best post-Western movies: Bite the Bullet. I just watched the first flick about that movie I like a lot in the original English language in form as a Trailer and dislike that narrators voice and way to speak. Ugh.
That’s way better. But I still prefer the German dubbed version due to his thick American accent.
I remember how much I hated this young guy played by Jan Michael-Vincent. He treated his horse just like he treated vulnerable people, especially women.
There are about 4 fires burning near me all out at least over 10 miles away. One has to pass near a large lake. That’s the big one. I’m boxed in square 4 freeways. The city fire department is world class.
One wildlife refuge is threatened, but not the two I had hiked/volunteered. Unless some deviant or homeless gets access.
I bought a new hose industrial grade as my stretchy is leaking from small holes. Just in case somebody slashes our hoses and tries to burn near or around.
I had a problem with arsonists I confronted before.
Heavy rain coming in and even heavy snowfall in the mountains. Got to deal with a small patio leak now. Should have patched it up by going up the ladder, but it’s a blessing on faith.
Seems the other burning fires haven’t spread much but air quality is worse today. 2 new fires just popped up within 7 miles and I can’t get any details and find them again on my map. One is right next to a freeway and possibly private land the other right next to a high tech high school.
Currently some states have about 7 active fires and that’s a lot. California has 120 at least today.
Freeways offer some protection but then homeless often camp under overpass and next to them.
I don’t know the causes but I’m sure several are intentionally set and more people are getting the idea to do so as more fire spreads.
We have also had several battery storage fires in the past months. Those are terrible. Can’t be put out.
Sometimes people sense a fire when there is no actual fire. Sometimes this is worse and the fires more ridiculous and intensely perceived around certain individuals.
Apparently, it’s the difference between how Americans and Germans are raised, where Germans throw caution to the wind and Americans see danger approaching.
