Will you be working through Christmas?
I am working today, tomorrow, Monday. Iām supposed to have the 23rd off, but we might be getting a new water system. If thatās the case, Iāll work part of the day. Iām off the 24th, 25th, 27th and 28th. I also have January 1st off. I donāt celebrate the feast of the circumcision, but Iāll take the day off!
Why take that day off? Why not just work through it?
Itās a holiday and Iām salary. I do the schedule. It would be mean of me to tell an employee that everyone else will get time and a half, except for you. I wouldnāt do that to myself either.
Christmas eve is not a holiday, but I host, so I took it off.
