Are you dying, Bill? Kindly spare me the platitude that we are all dying.

the doctor said in so many words-
“people with test results like these usually die, and that right quick.
would you like some more tests?”
i said-
“nope, i accept my diagnosis.
do you have the phone number for hospice?”

What is your diagnosis, Bill? Do you fear death?

i laugh at death (see notes)

NOTES:
ha ha ha

I understand if you’d rather not say your diagnosis. Will you tell us how long the doctor things you have? “Right quick” isn’t very specific. I understand that doctors are often (perhaps almost always) wrong when they make these guesses.

superimpose the two images below using the powers of your mind
now use those powers to imagine the dog is moving
that’s as far into my diagnosis as i got
if i agree to additional tests, they will name a disease after me

I’m guessing you are a smoker and more than likely you’ve lived longer than many smokers but if you quit now maybe you will live longer.

Happy 99th birthday to Jimmy Carter!!!

Are you currently in a hospice, Bill?

are you currently drunk?
i typed “i am at home” already
try to keep up

So you did. Your x-rays look unpleasant. Hopefully you’ll live a bit longer.

those are stock pics of x-rays from the net
why do i get the feeling that so many things go over your head?
or maybe you just no longer have the attention span you once did

My attention span is fading, that’s certain. For example, I had forgotten how you post things that aren’t yours without mentioning it.

It seems then, from what I can determine with my failing attention span, that you’re home, taking some meds, and have reason to believe you may be seriously ill, but because you’re refusing further testing, you’re not sure. It doesn’t sound like you care much if you live or die, which I find reasonable. I’ve always said that death is everyone’s right.

What a load of crap.

Reg, does Bill dance around every question like this or do you think he is too proud to admit that he is terrified?

you miss the point
the people with the morphine…
what do they believe?
i have always thought i should have as much morphine as i want
now i do

Yes.

Yes.

A friend of mine did MAID (medical assistance in dying) about two years ago. He got an unlimited fentanyl pump. He would get pain, push the button, some fentanyl would immediately release and his pain would subside, but his brain would shut off for a minute too. When he came back from the quick fix, he wouldn’t remember what we had been talking about. We didn’t really care about staying on topic anyway.

i get that!
it’s why federal law declined my gracious offer to operate their heavy machinery

like i had forgotten that you are a punk
