Putin has a great deal of influence on the world stage. That doesn’t make him better since Zelenskyy has been an exceptional talent entertaining, for the right price.

He’s right. And yet, our leaders and populations are weak and dumb. We deserve this new world.
Zelensky should take the deal. It’s not going to get better for him or his people so he is only prolonging the inevitable at the expense of his citizens. Surrender the Donbas region, join the EU and call it a win win.

Unfortunately, probably true but Zelensky has too much to hide in the labs or he would be civil and go alongside his funding partners in the NATO alliance.
I hope he tells Russia to stuff it. EU is telling him to keep fighting. His country his call.

I totally agree. I wish, the EU would turn fheir back on US as long as they behave like a bully instead of a partner. Quit NATO. Turn East. Offer Russia a good deal for their future economic ties with the EU (and vice versa) and a common military bond, if they go back home. We also should cancel that toll deal. It was wrong to bow to Trumps Erpressung. I feel only shame for my German and Eurooean politicians. For both, incl. the weak support for Ukraine, till it’s nearly too late. But now we should finally start to activate the war modus. For our own security.
