That’s how the law currently works. We focus on the shooter. Not the weapon. It is VERY reactive.

Not everyone can change. It’s obviously a combination of weapons and mental illness. Australia has mental illness. They don’t have this problem.
At least kirk accepted that more guns meant more death by guns. A lot of gun nuts reject that, even though they know it’s true.

Clearly what we have done, doesn’t work. There is probably nothing that can be done to correct this. At least not quickly. The quick fix is more difficult access to guns. Mental illness takes forever to work on. I doubt any type of background check would have prevented this. He was quiet and kept to himself. If you think it should be more difficult for people to get guns, I’m with you. The NRA disagrees with you.

I’ve seen it. He put the burden on the Church and parents. How rude to lift the burden from tax-payers and put it on parents.
Certainly, the preacher is entitled to his opinion and so are the others.
