That explains Daniel. Michele is unusually sane on this day, more sane than I was when Trump got elected. Back then, I (and every host on CNN and MSNBC and millions of others who couldn’t accept Trump’s win) indulged in all kinds of idiocy about how Trump would never serve out his term. He’s still standing, and almost certainly will be until Jan 20.
Trump himself is more easily explainable. He has never been able to accept defeat, even when he was badly defeated. This loss will surely be the worst of his life. He has enough lunatics in his cult that he’ll be fine unless we manage to throw him in jail and bankrupt him. “We” being the worldwide group of people who despise him. My hatred of him isn’t particularly healthy but it’s quite common and has fewer side effects than most recreational drugs, especially now that he doesn’t matter anymore.
