I know it takes a lot of time for a body to agree and make decisions weighing in different aspects of every proposal and issue…
But who sobers up faster, The House of Representatives or The Senate? Just on sobriety as the deciding factor, to argue and go back and forth to try and reach the unattainable sobriety. Who do you think does it faster even if it is just to slightest degree.
Do you think it is right for others to make decisions determining the future of another person’s life who no longer has a say in it due to their usurpation because they have reached a point where they can no longer cognitively function due to inability to sober up any more or reach a condition of sobriety that allows such cognitive function.
Do you determine fates of others based on if the outcome will return you to necessary level of sobriety to continue with your current favorite activities?
Has anyone ever been subject to a decision or judgement like that because the person “had no option” due to lack of sobriety on their part?

I’d say 4.8 million new jobs is good news. Of course, most aren’t really new. They’re just coming back after having been lost. That said, it beats the hell out of not having those 4.8 million jobs.
You make them sound like organs…tonsils, kidneys, reproductive organs. Were they lost during meditation or was this some type of harvesting? Does the same thing happen at the cellular level with organelles when the cytoplasm breaks down or loses quality properties?

10 year penalty for “playing with our monuments or our statues” according to Trump. The bill was just signed he seemed very proud of. I don’t know if that means actually tearing the statue down or just graffiti. He says “Amazing how it all stopped”.

I was watching a Trump ad before I saw the story. He was talking to somebody about how this is that and that is this etc. It looked like some type of art of the deal shuffle.
Trump seems all over the place on this one. He wants another stimulus round. This one bigger. He also wants a check for returning to work. Most likely because unemployment pays more than some jobs. They could also just increase the minimum wage nationally. I haven’t gotten my 1st check yet. Nor did I ever stop working. I wonder if I’ll get anything.
They should have just given everyone 2000 dollars and if you make a certain amount, you have to give it back.
It would have been so much faster. Who cares how much you made last year. Or 2 years ago. I’ll get my check 5 months after quarantine started here. Ridiculous. I’ll cash it, but do I need it? What did they expect me to do the last 5 months if I needed it?

I have adapted to making 1000 dollars less per month. Refinancing also meant I didn’t have to pay July mortgage.
I don’t know about you but I’m spending very little. No restaurants, obviously. No prepared food, even. I find if I have to eat it at home, I’d rather make it at home. No travel. No car or taxi/Uber expenses. I did a few computer upgrades and other purchases on Amazon once they started shipping again but that was only about $1500 and my wish list is now empty. Not including those, I bet I’m spending under $2000/mo including my rent here in Colombia.

I’m spending very little these days. A few small items from Amazon. Mostly radio stuff. The rest i’m saving.

I’m driving a little less and getting the best gas mileage I’ve ever gotten.
It is possible for Trump to run and switch his VP correct? Trump can decide for the VP or the VP can decide for himself, but the VP cannot decide who will run for President.
I don’t know if it has need done before but can a Republican have a Democrat as a VP. For instance Trump/Warren 2020 or vice versa. It would be the ultimate party balance.
I’m no expert on US civics but I have heard many times that is possible. It won’t happen, of course, at least not this year, but it could happen theoretically.
