Trump is obviously lying about being sarcastic. He was totally serious. He is also an imbecile. That said, it’s also a mistake to let medical doctors choose the course of action here. Medical Doctors will always choose to do whatever it takes to save the patient in front of them. They are well qualified for that, but they are not qualified to assess the damage caused to society caused by taking the actions they recommend. I’ve heard rumblings about a new, mutated coronavirus strain that may be headed our way in a few months. Are we going to shut down the world again? We better start having that discussion and decide if we’re ready for an Orwellian dystopia where people avoid being in the same room as anyone else because that’s what we’ll get if we let doctors decide.
The us space force starts next Friday. Air force members will be allowed to transfer to the new military branch. I wonder what they will do. I find space interesting, but I would never develop the stomach for it. I have some bad motion sickness at times.
