Wow! It was a roller coaster kind of crazy day in the stock market. What a mess! You guys must be fuming.

I’m invested in stocks but not directly. I learned long ago that my ability to pick stocks was horrible. I now just buy conservative mutual funds and let people smarter than me pick the stocks.
Well I was referring to Trump causing the market to tank but that’s a smart idea. I lost a little today. I’m not upset about it. I believe what Trump is doing is necessary and I have faith everything will work itself out.
300 points isn’t tanking. I don’t care much about his sanctions on China (which caused this furor). I did in the past. I thought they were terrible. Now I’m less sure.

The fact is, he’s been sanctioning China for a year now without any real negative effect on the US economy. I have to admit that.

I do want to add one thing. This last round of tariffs affects only a few things such as iPhones. I had no idea they had been exempted so far. It seems bizarre to me NOT to tax them if you’re going to tax other things. They are toys for the well off. They should probably have been taxed first.
Now I better work or the retirement will depend more on the stock market. lol.
I hate to burst yer bubble Reg, but #1 I’m a busy guy, my time is valuable, and to be honest BBAD.com is not a priority to me.
#2 I don’t recall you ever beating me in debate and I feel kind of bad when it seems like I’d just kicking you why you were down if I kept drawing the arguments to their conclusions.
#3 And you should consider this for your own good, one of many rules I live by is that “whatever you practice you get better at” and I wouldn’t want to end up a BBAD curmudgeon by constantly practicing the habits you seem to enjoy here so much.
I’m not sure what your point is. Feel free to come here as much or as little as you like. You are not well liked here so nobody aside from Michele will care if you leave but nobody will stop you if you stay.

I do smoke. That doesn’t mean I want my president to smoke. If I worked outside our home, I would have to find a different form of treatment. Back to steroids and muscle relaxers.
What’s wrong with just not being high on the job? Like not being drunk on the job. Nobody cares if a president drinks now and then.
There is nothing wrong and should be encouraged but when you’re the president, who is going to stop you?
I need to correct something here. When I said encouraged, I just meant it should be encouraged as a first option of treatment by a doctor over man-made pills like Xanax.
